Is making icon patches prohibited?

Postby mynameisgerd on Tue Jan 12, 2010 7:23 am

I'm just wondering if making an Icon patch to change the Icon of NBA Live 08 to NBA Live 10 is allowed. Because I did that a couple of months ago, replacing the black NBA Live 08 icon with Tony Parker's NBA Live 09 Icon.

But I really do think it is prohibited though, am I right, Andrew?

Indeed. That's where previous releases have erred.

Wait Andrew, are referring to JaoSming's statement? So does it mean I can post .ico files?

That's right, absolutely no problems posting the .ico files along with any relevant instructions. :) The .exe files on the other hand are a no-no.
