NBA JAM 2004

What do you guys think of this game? I think its great but isn't as good as nba street. However, if you're a nba fan and gamer...like most of us are..you must rent this game. It has tons of legands..though i didnt notice bill sharman, jerry west and jordan (big disappointment) . It has 4 different commentators...each reflecting the styles of the pre 70's..70's..80's and current times (something i hope live will copy). It also has the old fashion courts like a small gynasium without 3point line for pre 70's.

At first i found it impossible hard but once you get the hang of stealing and blocking..it gets pretty easy. Im blowing out teams by 20, 30 and even 50 points once (1980's allstar team 5. But thats prolly cause it has people like danny ainge and mo cheeks).

Yes! Bootsy Collins as the 70's Commentator gets Disturbing though  At times when your in a bad Slump in the middle of a gsame...Bootsy's voice just pisses you off More....and i am on 80's Team 3 :) But god the Pre-70's team PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF....IT went like this:

Pass To Chamberlain
Pass To Chamberlain
Pass To Chamberlain
Pass To Chamberlain
Pass To Chamberlain

Wow.....Chamberlains Ball Hogging is very Realistic...he triews to nab 100

I am using the lakers

The 70's Team 1 was Sort of hard but i won....By kobe's two handed DUNK!

It was like 75-76 and Dr. J had the ball he went for a layup and no! He Missed! and i won 75-76 :D

This game is better with the Legends than NBA Live 2004...they have Correct Jerseys...they even have the damn "C" on Tim Hardaways warrios jersey! (Check Tom Chambers Too!) and then Shaw is a Legend  In his !BLUE! Orlando Jersey which is SWEET right there!

There are some signature dunks in here like J-Rich's dunk...In which Andrew said

Off the Lob

Reverse In-Between the LEGS!

The game is wayyyy too easy for me now. I played with the lakers also..since they are the strongest team. Even though that was the case..i got pwned...especially by the pre 70's team of nate thurman and crew. However, I built up my created player over time..and as i got more points..i added to his stats, height and weight and made jordan. All his stats are maxed out..so i beat teams by no less than 40 points...even the best teams feel my wrath.

The most ive beaten a team by is 106 points..and i beat another one by 99 points. I missed the final shot to make it 101....that pissed me off supremly. I beat every legand team in a row starting from team #2 of the pre 70's all star. That was before i maxed out "jordan".

Damn, I haven't played NBA Jam since the PSX days. NBA Street seems to be a deeper game, but I might give Jam a shot.

NBA Street is better.

I find it incredibly hard to block a shot in JAM. And when the cpu catches fire, he stands under the basket and just goaltends everything, comes back down and launches 3's or dunks on you. Jam pisses me off to much.
