nba today unable to sychronize....

Is anyone getting this error? I hope Im not dreaming

I was hoping I just had bad timing during the day or something but I havent been able to do NBA today games for a little while now

Confirmed here. Not only that, but it takes it's sweet time trying to connect and it does it twice when the game starts up. Probably takes about 5 minutes just to be able to get into the game. Make sure you don't accidentally hit the shoot button(for online) while scrolling through the menu's, either. You will be waiting a good 60-90 seconds.

guys do you encountered the game does not continue to exhibitions and other game proper like practice etc. because the game exit itself?

yeah 2k is probably disabling online for us til the patch..... I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME

For those who are still experiencing the problem, i recommend you delete your NBA TODAY file once u have started up NBA 2K10. To do this, go to Option, Load/Save, Delete, then select your NBA TODAY to delete. Restart the game and it should work from there on out.

That's weird man, ya same here when i had that problem. I was connected to the server b/c i was able to download the roster updates... but NBA Today worked after i deleted the file and restarted the game. Given it took awhile again but at the end it successfully synchronized...

That's the only way it worked for me. After i deleted the NBA TODAY file and restarted the game so it would connect to the 2K Server and redownload it once it recognized that it was deleted/not there anymore. Try manually deleting the file so you've deleted it for sure, go to the Save Folder in windows and try again.

ummm, well one other thing that i did was once i got into the game, i redownloaded the latest Official 2K Roster, so try that once u get into the game b/c u are allowed access to the 2K Server even tho NBA TODAY is not synchronized.

i think the last roster bugged my nba today
the new one i just downloaded made it work again

Anyway, its cool to have the NBA today. Just like playing a game yesterday and today, there are new year designs on the scores... found it nice and new.

Too bad we cant use NBA today offline.
