Again, this is some of the info that they need. This is really important, just as important as listing the bugs. EA needs some information so that they can fix these errors. If you'd like to report a bug, that's OK, but please try and provide some additional information.
Andrew wrote:In an effort to help EA develop an official patch for NBA Live 2004, we'll need to provide them with some information. In particular, if you've been experiencing the problem with the jerseys where "AAAAAAAAAAA" is displayed instead of the player's name, info about your system and what you were doing when you experienced the error would be very helpful to developing a fix.
The following information would be most appreciated:
- Your PC's Setup (DXDiag would be very useful)
- What you were doing before entering gameplay and noticing the error (ie did you go straight from loading the game to Play Now)
- If the error isn't evident from the time you start the game, does it occur after entering the pause menu?
If anyone who is experiencing this problem can provide some information, I'll pass it on to EA Sports. You may post the info here or email me at andrew@nba-live.com.
Once more: the bug reports are useful, but this extra information can help EA develop a fix for these issues that works for everyone. Even if you only provide your PC's specs (video card, RAM, processor, etc) and a brief description of what you were doing when you encountered the error/crash, it will be very helpful.
