Oh, Ty out... but looking at the last games Bell will do a good job, but not like Ty, you just can't replace him :P

Hell, thats bitter. But maybe it allows you to have a shot at the title with some veteran leadership from Bell. KD likes him more anyway. Get him a ring and ship his ass out of Seattle. :)

Stealth's gonna lose in the first round, Durant scores 30 a game, sees that he can't do it himself and becomes best friends with Ty.

2nd round is my guess, too. Beating Portland would be very tough.

What happened to Dallas? Is Dirk still on the team?

Thanks for dropping by! :) Dirk is still on the team... from memory... starting five is:

Dampier - Dirk - Turkoglu - Jet - Hinrich with Dela Cruz coming off the bench.

but seeing as you have an all-rounded bitch in Durant, you'll be able to get to the second round with no problems

Durant isn't an all-around bitch, just a crazy mothefucka scorer

Try telling that to Durant :P

Why would I win a ring for Durant if I was to trade him? :P

Kobe is not the best anymore. Durant is. :)

Actually, stats wise, Iggy and Arenas are pretty close to Kobe's level. Arenas should def be there but Iggy coulda been substituted by Kobe.

Rose is shit in 2k9... I should really fix that... Monta Ellis averages like 24 ppg and 8 apg.

Jay Gray is a beast... first player in NBA history to win ROY and DPOY in the same year.

Monta Ellis is far better than Derrick Rose, in real life and in video games.

His Lakers are 7 seed... he was in top 5 scoring but he has Bynum, Gasol, Farmar, Stuckey on his team. he's got other stars while guys like iggy have less to work with and are just as talented. :P

Chara won't be happy playing 2nd fiddle to Lebron. Not happy with LBJ winning it (N)

Guess Moses has to win more before he'll get his MVP title

How could I not make the Rookie teams? That is some big snub. Get the goddam Spaniard out of town and let me compete for the All NBA team then. :)

Moses Chara will be pretty pissed I guess. LBJ all over him. Who is this Louis Nixon? Averaging 6 assists in 22 minutes per game, not too bad. But it's with the Warriors, so this might irritate a bit.
Your projected rotation is decent. I see you going for the Conference Finals at least.

Yes, those two are the top 2 players in the NBA... Moses just isn't winning. But Bron has Rudy Gay... Moses has Kevin Martin but plays in a tougher conference... dunno who I would favour...

You weren't snubbed that bad :P Louis Nixon won sixth man of the year despite being a rookie... Ray Lliach led his team to the playoffs so that explains your snub. As for other guards, James Carter was on Lakers and averaged 12 ppg and Jeremy Mason averaged 16ppg for Nets... you're just not good enough. Sorry Hova :P Pity you got picked up by Toronto otherwise you could have had a big first season!

Nixon, I wrote about him before I think... Warriors rookie averaging 12 ppg and 6 apg in 22 mpg... he's awesome. (Y)

My projected rotation is:

Bogut - Lee - Durant - Bell - Kidd
Wallace - Wilcox - Ariza - Telfair

NBA Playoffs: First Round
NBA Playoffs: Eastern Conference Previews At-A-Glance

Join ESPN.com’s Woody Hannes in this quick series-by-series preview to get up to speed with the NBA playoffs before they begin. Click on the links to read more about the series you are interested in.

1. Miami Heat (53-29) vs 8. Philadelphia 76ers (39-43)

Team Rotations
Miami: C: K Thomas | PF: M Beasley | SF: D Wright | SG: D Wade | PG: M Chalmers | S Livingston
Philadelphia: C: S Dalembert | PF: E Brand | SF: A Iguodala | SG: T Young | PG: Z Resurreccion | B Brock

Series Breakdown The Philadelphia 76ers would be dreaming if they thought they could take out the Miami Heat. Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley are perhaps the best duo in the NBA and the Heat’s roster has been assembled perfectly to compliment their two stars. A combination of tenacious defense and accurate shooting make the Heat supporting cast one of the best in the League.

Meanwhile, the Sixers do have a chance of upsetting Miami if they can stop Wade while also waking up veteran PF Elton Brand. Brand has seemingly cruised all season; many debating whether he is on the downside of his career or if he has stopped trying. Reports indicate that many within the Sixers organization believe Brand still has a lot left in the tank. Perhaps he will step up these playoffs. Read More…

Woody’s Prediction Miami in 4

2. Cleveland Cavaliers (52-30) vs 7. Atlanta Hawks (43-39)

Team Rotations
Cleveland: C: S Hunter | PF: R Gay | SF: L James | SG: R Fernandez | PG: M Williams | W Szcerbiak
Atlanta: C: A Horford | PF: J Smith | SF: T Prince | SG: M Ginobili | PG: A Law | B Bass

Series Breakdown LeBron James and Rudy Gay are just too tough to contain and that is why many NBA fans are just drooling at the thought of those two taking on Miami’s Wade and Beasley. That will require the Cavs to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals and no one is going to argue against the Cavs winning their first round encounter with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks have a strong enough team to pose a decent challenge against MVP James’ Cavs but don’t be too confident of them being capable of a comeback. The most games the Hawks could probably win is 2 and that is 2 short of winning the series. Read More…

Woody’s Prediction Cleveland in 5

3. Washington Wizards (46-36) vs 6. Detroit Pistons (43-39)

Team Rotations
Washington: C: L Aldridge | PF: A Jamison | SF: C Butler | SG: G Arenas | PG: K Pirc | N Young
Detroit: C: Z Randolph | PF: J Maxiell | SF: J Green | SG: R Hamilton | PG: L Head | S Vujacic

Series Breakdown The Detroit Pistons are more than capable of beating the higher seeded Washington Wizards. Washington has always been plagued with injury issues and don’t be too surprised if one of their starters goes down at any time during this series. Lamarcus Aldridge has not been the player many expected him to be for the Wizards and it is time for him to step up if Washington are to advance.

Zach Randolph has been great for the Pistons since being traded from New York while Jeff Green gives Detroit a versatile scorer. Washington has never been great on defense and will need to stop the versatile Pistons, who can score from any place on the floor. Read More…

Woody’s Prediction Detroit in 6

4. Boston Celtics (41-41) vs 5. Orlando Magic (43-39)

Team Rotations
Boston: C: M Olowokandi | PF: K Garnett | SF: P Pierce | SG: R Allen | PG: R Rondo | E House
Orlando: C: D Howard | PF: I Lane | SF: R Lewis | SG: C Lee | PG: J Nelson | M Pietrus

Series Breakdown Orlando will have home court advantage in this series but the favorites to win it will be Boston. The defending champs did not have the best regular season but expect them to kick it up another notch as they aim to win their third title in four seasons.

Both teams are evenly matched and this series should go the distance. The Boston Celtics should prevail in a close series thanks to their experience and hunger to repeat. Read More…

Woody’s Prediction Boston in 7
