X's BUCKS DYNASTYHey all,
I started a little Bucks' Association yesterday and I thought one or two of you might be interested so thought I might post updates here every now & then. Let me just say off the bat my updates in this thread will be sporadic but such is my real life commitments (work, study, family etc). First thing I'll say is don't expect the World from this Association. This is me merely keeping a record of my Association progress through the seasons. I hope I don't disappoint some guys who expect a Sit-level dynasty as you can't create them, as the truth is much like legends, great dynasties are just born (see what I did there Will?
)I'm doing something a little different this time. I'm using 2k's crappy Association blog service as it will allow me to get my team's stats and standings up-to-date with minimal effort. I'll probably use 2k to get any pics I want to take get uploaded direct from my PS3. I figure I'll do any game recaps (if I feel in the mood) over there. This can be a discussion/spam thread with content included. Random I know.

A quick Q & A to answer your qualms & do my best to not inflate the thread post count so the season starts before the 3rd page:
Q: Why did I pick the Bucks?
A: I like Bogut. I'm glad Jennings' play has plateaued so I don't feel that I have to make him the star. They're a bit shite. They have a chance to over-achieve. They play in a city that is known more for beer than much else. That 70's Show. I once got drunk due to Joe Alexander's "freakish athleticism" & he needs to make up for it on the court. Alcindor. Big O. They are long overdue for another championship. I only have 25 years to make it happen
Q: Will you win more than 20 games your first season?
A: Probably not. But then again, I'm only playing 29 game seasons
Q: You should fully make Jennings a star?
A: No
Q: Are you going to have fully sick drafts?
A: Probably. I hear John Wall is good, but I like Evan Turner, cracked back & all.
Q: What system are you playing on? Specs?
A: PS3. Playing 10-11 minute quarters, sim 12 minute quarter. Using Playmakers sliders (on Pro to start with, graduate to higher levels once Pro too easy) but adjusted to increase injuries & suit my playing style. 29 game season, playoff format 3-3-3-5.
Q: Are you going to play all your games?
A: No. It's not humanly possible to get through 29 game seasons by playing every single game. Therefore I will play 50%, sim 50%. I will alternate. First game played, second game simmed.
Q: But what if you make the playoffs? Will you play all your games?
A: No. Per above, play, sim, play, sim etc. If it means I make the playoffs in my first season then my 1st Round matchup will be sim, play, sim. Scary I know, but such is life. Only allowance I'll give myself is if it comes to game 5 of NBA Finals then I think I owe it to myself to play it
Q: Any NLSC Draftees?
A: For the most part no as I have downloaded DaRebirth's 2010-2013 draft classes. Although if I so choose, I'll throw some in here & there (maximum 3 per class). Don't worry about asking though.
Q: Any prediction games?
A: No, they are timely & I don't think they add to the dynasty as a whole. Feel free to make predictions though
Q: Any shoutouts in advance?
A: Okay, but only because you asked, but this is the first & only time they'll happen. Sit because deep down we all love Durant. Lamrock because he's young & old school at the same time. To Mark for making a short comeback cameo in the dynasty/association sections. To Honor Glow (where are you now?) for his Live GMC project & his outstanding Live '04 Lakers' legacy, because that's what is was. To cocobee for being the reason I joined the NLSC. To Jing for being one of the original Bobcats' dynasty supporters. To every other NLSC dynasty head for being dynasty heads.
