UFO watchers around the world are buzzing after video footage emerged overnight of what they believe is the strongest proof yet that were are not alone in the universe.
Thousands of people bombarded Norway's Meteorological Institute with reports of a spiralling blue light that appeared in the sky above Trondelag around 8.45am local time.
The light has been descirbed as a "giant blue catherine wheel" spiralling around a bright object and appeared at one stage to be anchored to the ground with a triangular blue beam.

It's not that I don't believe in the possibility of aliens and it's a cool video, but I'm not sure that it's concrete evidence of a UFO any more than some of the other close encounters of the blurred kind that surface every so often. There's been no alternative explanation put forth for the phenomenon as yet, but we've yet to see the actual craft and little green men either, as it were.

Until we actually get a UFO that lands on Earth and stays stationary there, then I think it remains a mystery. We need concrete proof of that level to be sure.

Pretty much. We have stories of strange encounters and some photos/videos that are difficult to explain (and others that are obvious hoaxes) but nothing concrete as yet.
