i voted for 1998 cause I don't know much about basketball in that time period(besides i've heard the 90s were some of the best basketball)..would be nice to play with different teams etc from then.

thanks! also on the issue of the bobcats i will probably make their whole team 25 everything so they will be easy to beat and wont change much!
(it will be easier once team editing comes out :))

So i was thinking about this earlier and thought it would be a real cool idea..

so since your making a 2001 roster and we're playing like it's 2001, how about a draft file that has the next years people in the draft? and then we can draft real people from the next year when we get there in our association...

good idea to me=P

i was actually thinking about that
if u could create the draft class file i would be thankful!
im trying to get all the rosters done, its just tough cuz while i love making rosters, it helps when i have people actually interested...like last year lol

well i'm interested, and i wouldn't even know where to start with the draft class file.

would i just create new draft class in game? If i got all of the info i guess I could do it.

EDIT:

scratch that, i have no clue how to make the players etc.

The roster is nice, but the ratings are kind of messed.

Well, one criticism would be that there is no way in hell Antonio Davis should be an 85 under the new rating system. An 85 is above-average All-Star caliber now. I would guess that the main issue is too high of inside scoring ratings and rebounding ratings. Probably Off/Def Awareness at all. It's not too horrible though, and I know ratings are hard to do, especially when the system changes. Otherwise, it's looking great (Y)

well if u look at that year, antonio davis was an allstar...he was an allstar starter as well

that was antonio davis' career year...if it was say...2003 his rating would be lower but in 2001 davis was legitametaly a top center

Oh god, you're right... That's absolutely miserable that the fans voted for a guy averaging 13.3 PPG and 10.9 RPG, on 42.6% shooting, over, for instance Mutombo who was averaging around 9 points and 14 rebounds per game on 47% shooting. I would say the deciding factor was that Davis was playing alongside the Eastern Conference's co-Golden Boy Vince Carter on the surging Raptors while Mutombo played for the dismal Atlanta Hawks. Either way, 2001 was a dismal year offensively for Eastern Conference centers, so I would take Davis' all-star appearance with a grain of salt, especially looking at his dismal shooting percentage and only average rebounding and blocking numbers.

yea i disagree with his ur opinion of his season. he was a very good (underrated) center. as u said his teammate was vince carter. it was very difficult for him to get his shot..he was a cleanup man. he was also a top tier defender. antonio davis was a well desserving allstar and welldeserving of an 85 rating. when i play him in association he gets similar numbers anyways :)
