EA BUG FIX PATCH LEAKED????????

Postby D1anonly on Fri Jan 16, 2004 11:05 am

EA Sports has been working on a patch to fix the customart problem along with some others. Apparently this patch has been acquired from their server and passed along onto the net.

nbalive.org does not support warez/cracks and the like, but we will confirm this "leakage" (so to speak) of the patch. Do not request the patch on here, if you wish to get the patch either wait, search the internet or ask someone who has it OFF THE FORUM. Asking for it, or providing information on how to get it will be viewed as a violation of the warez/crack clause in the rules. However our jurisidiction does not expand beyond the limits of the forum.

So, again, to make sure. There is a patch, it has found it's way onto the internet before release. Do not ask for it or show how to get it on on here, but we won't do anything if you manage to get it and talk about it.

So my question is do the same rules apply here or are we free to swap this file. I don't have it but if somebody does I would like to have it.

guys, wait for the official patch to be released... EA Sports I am sure worked long and hard on this patch... probably tried to meet many of the issues that were talked about in these forums.... warez is bad... EA deserves their money and we should all be patient for the official release...

not to mention the leaked patch is more then likely not fully completed in the first place so it would be missing some important features.

this might actually be the patch--but EA's official patch might come out later --and with EA's reputation on patches --it might be awhile till they release anything. I hope they prove me wrong though. Some people who already have the pacth say it fixes the custom art problem (which is my biggest complaint) but hopefully--this official patch will let us set the resolution higher than 1280? we'll see.

yeah, i know that trick--but it messd up my game. To get higher resolution we had to trick the cpu--I want an official patch. But the game looks good regardless--it was just weird that out of the box we couldn't get any higher. [/code]

i'm just glad that ea finally is doing some work with live after the release again. i think they really are trying to improve the live series, rather than ride on its name and reputation.

Well, if there indeed is a leak on this "patch" from EA and it's been known to be a Warez or where a crack is required, this can only mean that it ain't free....

And that blows....

I don't think we'd have to pay for it. You'll probably just need the original game or maybe just punch in a serial code.

I think they mean the unleaked version, thus the one that is officially to be released by EA...

nah, you got me wrong, i dont think well have to pay for it but someone suggested that ea should get money for a patch like that and all i said was that i think this idea is the dumbest ever cause its the bugs made by ea and its normal that they make fixes for free cause they were the ones who fucked it up
