MW2 according to my cousin is easily beatable in 4 hours.

and NovU...Arkham Asylum isnt a movie game, its a comic book game. One of the best ever made in my experience...maybe aside from comix zone...

Downloaded demo for marvel ultimate alliance 2...: anyone that plays those: if i'm buying one should i buy the first one or the second one?

Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, and anything in-between, in that order. I refuse to touch 2K10 until it's patched.

I think pretty much everybody agrees on this looking at the reviews and the sales figures.

Same here, I've been updating the rosters and stuff regularly, but I still have to play one full game...shame.

I'm still playing full games in it since, well, the patch doesnt fix much of the gameplay that bothers me...

I just havent been playing My Player or Association mode at all until I get the patch.
Opinions are my own.

Sounds like both companies made a few missteps with their first official updates for their respective NBA titles. Good thing they're both coming out with second updates.

Well, not really, maybe the later games that were less strict. Basically you can usually shoot your way out of any situation, only twice have I not been able to make a getaway to the rooftops for a breather, and both cases involved about 60 Nazi's all shooting at me.

I might be playing it wrong, but stealth missions often lead to either you blowing something up, or you doing something and maybe having to beat a hasty retreat or shoot your way out.

Like there was a mission the other night where I had to kill this guy, and he had four bodyguards, so I grabbed a disguise from a Nazi lookout, then scaled the roofs, took out his guards from the roofs, then dropped down when the alert died down and pretended I was a Nazi to get close, then killed him, which triggered the Nazi's around the area, so I had to run and either get to the roofs or stand and fight. (ROOFS ALWAYS!)

I'd mostly disagree with your first sentiment Andrew. I don't play My Player mode, so those bugs don't bother me, but rest of game plays great. Online needs to be improved though.

I think all the other guys talking have PC version which has not been patched yet & won't be for another month or two.

I can't speak from personal experience as far as NBA 2K10 is concerned, so my observation is purely based on some of the feedback I've seen. In any case, I think it's for the best that it isn't going to be a case of one and done as far as the official updates are concerned. It's good that even as the new development cycle begins, they're not leaving the current release out in the cold.

Yup. I can see why it is one of the best though. The graphic and control, all looks smooth, and not to mention the gameplay. Maybe I suck at action games, that's why I don't really fall into this genre of games.

Just finished playing through Half Life 2 + E1 + E2 (Orange Box) for the second time. Still great fun, good ending can't wait for the final chapter to be released.

TomCat, Coincidentally, I just started a new file on that myself. Just beat the boat level in HL2. Game is such a masterpiece.

Yeah man it's great. It's so easy to get sucked into and not want to stop playing until the game is completed. I'm tempted to play it through again on "Hard" difficulty this time..

Right now I'm praying for Santa to give me a Xbox 360  I'm playing 2k10 of course... also trying to finish Assassin's Creed before II gets released on PC.

Oh, also, not sure yet if I will buy Dragon Age: Origins. Anyone who played it? I'm sure some did.

It's pretty cool,a nice RPG-Action Combo.
Been playing it for about 8 Hours already.
You can choose from fighting styles, from Hand to Hand,to Weapons,To Magic,To Transformation.
The Story is pretty well Writen. It's Good, one of the best Rpg's I've Played so far.
And you don't need hell of a PC to play it too. :)
