Yeah, I have no idea what to do at that point. I'll have to think of something that will keep us all amused temporarily.

hell for 50k it will probably be a novel

I think I've surpassed 8000 and 9000 without making a fuss.

That's the thing, I've said it all before. I'd rather come up with some kind of game or whatever as something a little different.

I think he's going to write a book.

Re: The Milestone Thread

Guess I should start thinking of a title. "50,000 posts and all I got was this stupid t-shirt"...too cliche?

Only if its a welcome back coxer shirt:
Do you love it as much as i do?

You've got a good 2-4 months to think about it, I wouldn't worry about it now. :P

Err.. I dont think he have that long. You can look at Andrew's post count now and before you know it he'll have 2000 more posts.

Re: The Milestone Thread

Probably closer to two months than four. ;)

This is the way I did it:

50,000 - 48117
= 1,823

Divide that by his 18 posts per day and you're left with 101 days, so I just assumed around 2-4 months at that point. :P

Wait till he gets in a good rhythm.
Or till someone get's some problems in NBA Lives.

You're clever, but you made that much more complicated than it needs to be. ;)

I look at Andrew's posts count.

I lost track and I look at it again in a month time. His posts count increased by 3000+

 His post per day count is still rising, and after him to be a member here for 7 years and for it to keep rising from 18 is insane.

Granted, I think it's only rose by 0.07. :P

So, anybody wanna construct an exponential function of Andrew's post count?

I'd nominate The X since he's an accountant but i'm sure we must have some engineers on this forum. :)

My displayed average is a bit lower than it really is if you count from the time the forum officially opened and I started posting with it (November 11th). Let's just say I've been a frequent poster over the years, putting a number on it makes one start contemplating how many hours it took to amass said figures. ;)

if you don't mind me asking, what do you do with yourself Andrew? I remember you used to work at a book store. Don't need to answer if you don't want to. :)

That was a long time ago. :) These days I'm an IT tech, specifically dealing with computer repairs/upgrades etc.

A book store? I don't remember that one.

My post per day average has been made more socially acceptable by my repeated long-term absences.

Re: The Milestone Thread

lulz, I got 1.39 a day. I already tripled my average today.

Okay guys, just wanted to celebrate my first decent milestone I guess. It's my 5th anniversary with the NLSCs.

I came over here because I've always been a big basketball fan and found interest in the patches. I did not even visit the forum at the beginning. But after reading some of the Dynasty stories (I think Micchy's Lakers really caught my interest), I decided to make my own first D playing with the Kings in live 05.

viewtopic.php?f=73&t=22662

It was really bad. I traded away Kevin Martin for Stacey Augmon. How bad of a trade is that?

After that I started my Knicks dynasty in live 06 which was really popular. It was because guys were telling me what they liked and what not and everybody helped on improving etc. Something in general I really appreciate in this forum.

I got more active in the NBA forum as well as the general forum as it is for me, being German, a really cool way to get discussions going about the NBA since I do not know that many guys in my area who really like basketball.

For shutouts, I guess it does not make many sense to name every guy I like / appreciate on this forum. Definitely my dynasty/association guys, but also many others out there who like to discuss the NBA and also their real lifes.

So my only shutouts go to Andrew. He's Mr. NLSC for me and his accessible, objective disposition are to my liking. Keep it up (Y)

Thanks for the good time fellas.
