American Dad

This is the best show on Fox "Animation Domination"

Steve and friends breaking out of Space Camp...and during the sequence all they do is yell

"Where are all the strippers?"

I've never gotten into American Dad. Really don't get the appeal either.

The show is one of the few Seth McFarlane shows that is actually funny. Not as many of the flashbacks either, and Patrick Stewart does a hilarious job.

I wasn't a fan of American Dad before last season, but I left the TV on after Family Guy and decided to give it a shot. The first few seasons weren't good but the most recent seasons have been hilarious.

I should note that I've only seen the first season or two and haven't given it a look since. It was alright, I have to agree that Patrick Stewart is great in it but from what I've seen I wouldn't call it brilliant. I guess that verdict is coming from the more recent seasons I haven't seen.

American Dad, overall, is leaps and bounds better than Familia Dude and Cleveland Show, but, sometimes I'd rather just see how bad FG and CS can get and still be on the air.

Agree with the above, I prefer it over FG, Cleveland and the current Simpsons episodes.

There's your problem. It found its place in the third season and the last two have been better than anything but KOTH. It's the reward for surviving the rest of Animation Domination.

Yeah, it started out pretty poorly but got better with time.
At that same, it's not that much of a praise to consider it to be now the "best show on Fox Animation Domination"...

Perhaps I'll give it another look then, catch up on some old episodes and see if I warm up to it.

Does anyone else think that the alien is actually how McFarlane sees himself?

Personality too. You think seth mcfarlane sees himself as an almost flaming queen alien who eats cookies?

A crossdressing, rascist, woman hating, humanity abolishing, sexually ambivalent, condescending character? Pretty much.

And he still got to fool around with Eliza Dushku. The hatedom is justified.

You hate him?

Re: American Dad

I love American Dad. Though I know about Family Guy before, the only reason I got to watch more of FG was because of American Dad.

No.

That was simply amazing. The most epic thing on Animation Domination ever. Also, the best Christmas Special ever.

I am going to 2nd that notion, that was amazing

Re: American Dad

It certainly was the best in the mix tonight.
However, it does feel like pretty much every episode tends to revolve around the status of Stan and Francine's relationship, and considering that a lot of Simpsons episodes with a similar premise turned out mediocre along the years, I think it's a slippery slope for this show too. It will inevitably become boring and deja vu at some point.

Anybody caught the latest episode? I thought it was hilarious, had me laughing throughout the episode.

"Oh, forgive me officer Figpucker!"
The main story was good, as well as the Steve-chick one.

I already forgot, but if it was the one with Stan being a crack addict, it was pretty damn good indeed.
