Never seen in a video game

(yes this is stolen from escapistmagazine forum but i like the idea)
what have you guys never seen in a video game that you either want to or would be the win to crush all?
I personally want to see a crossover of historical figures and modern fighting game characters. Scorpion versus Gandhi (both practically skeletons), Subzero versus Stalin (any russian really), or even a simple classic Washington vs Lincoln battle.

I want to see a cross platform FPS game that would pit PS3 vs 360 vs PC users
Opinions are my own.

I really want that religious game the Flander's's played from The Simpsons. Although, it would have to be epic. You would play the second coming of Jesus and bring the rapture upon Mankind. It could be co-op with Mohammad or Buddha or any historically known god or prophet.

Virtua fighter gameplay in a sandbox multiplayer online setting with rpg elements. You could fight in the city in unreal championship style or challenge to a duel which would be closed of from others interfering for the duration of the fight. The option to select to fight with or without weapons before a fight. Being able to freely trashtalk someone before scrapping. Ability to steal weapons or gear from a beaten opponent. Knocking people through walls to move the fight to a different setting as well as dropping someone from a high for the same effect. Maybe also teaming up with people you enjoyed fighting with to form a crew. Something like that.

Interesting question.

Like Jon, I think cross-platform online gaming would be pretty cool, for all genres. Perhaps easier said than done, but it would be pretty revolutionary; even if you and a friend own different consoles or one of you is playing on the PC, you can still square off online in whatever game you care to mention, not to mention all the new challengers suddenly available from around the world now that you're no longer restricted to your fellow PC/Xbox 360/PS3 users. Again, probably easier said than done but it would be something.

Leisure Suit Larry creator Al Lowe once described his vision of the future of video games as being able to truly put yourself in the game. Obviously that's possible to a certain extent through avenues like modding, the face-in-the-game creator NBA Live had for a couple of years there, in-depth creation modes in all manner of games and so on but Lowe meant really putting oneself in the game: putting your face on the character, recording game dialogue, the works.

There is a first person shooting games, but I am yet to see successful first person sports game. Especially, I'd love to play first person NBA game where you have a total control of one player or more. But the concept would be that you'd feel like you are actually in their shoes playing a basketball on the court.

There was a way you could play a quarterback in first person in some football game I played, but it wasn't that fun since the gameplay simply was a lot smoother from top overview camera. So sports games made specially for first person experience I think would be extremely entertaining to many fans out there.
