I already heard about buying a new PS2 and shit and also i heard about Opening that...but...i ain't gonna take the risk.....i need some help

Same thing happened with my PS2 last year. Of course, the 12 month warranty had already expired, so I had to buy a new one.

You could always buy a new one and then return the wrong one...

I guess. The new one is the "PS2 Plus" though - it doesn't require the infra red adapter for the PS2 remote, and has some other features that set it apart from the original PS2, but I can't remember at this juncture.

i'm pretty sure you said that nba live 04 and nba jam 04 worked and that DBZ Budokai 2 game(the one that i've never heard of in my life) was the one i thought could possibly be a ps1 game. so i was just talking about DBZ Budokai 2 since I OBVIOUSLY HAVENT HEARD OF THAT GAME BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed home because I had to keep Checking PS2 thats why

since DBZ Budokai 2 was the only one that didn't work, and your mom took it to blockbuster, what did you have to check? you had stated that both bball games worked and your mom returned the game that didn't work. so what did you have to check?

Man, i think my DVD playback is starting to fuck up.
like i was watching black knight today and halfway through it cut off.
it can play the first half of the movie, but wont lemme go past it.
chucked it on my lil bro and sis's ps2 and it worked fine.

some DVD's will mess up at certain points, even without a scratch or mark on them.

is there anyway to clean them, or is it just going otu the door, its almost 3 years old now i think

You may need to clean your lazer lens. The make cd's that you can clean them with. The have 2 little brushes on the bottom. They work for all consoles that take cd's/dvds, dvd players, CD players, etc.

Go back to the orignial playstation, the one god created, with tittiez and ass. Way better features than any black box, and the costs of both are roughly the same. Plus the original playstation won't break down as much, and there's a special hands free feature where you lay back and the playstation takes care of all the work.

Then there's that other thing where you can go outside for some fresh air. But who I'm to say... here I am posting :D Ok I'm going outside now.

Apparently they don't work for the PS2, and using them can void the warranty. :?

When I play DVD's on my PS2...the brightness randomly goes up and down.

I would've suggested cleaning the lens head also. There must be something like that for PS2.

thats just how DVD's are these days, so people can't tape them with a VHS and sell illegal copies. if you try to tape a DVD once, you know what i am talking about.

The dumb thing about the progressive scan feature is that you have to have a TV that supports it...which means you'll be shelling out about $500 or so for a TV with those features. I just bought a TV and surround sound in September, and I was so pissed because the TV I got doesn't support progressive scan, and that feature was the main reason I dropped $800 on the surround sound/dvd combo...fucking Sony.
