Try a Gilbert Arenas wall.
Thu Nov 12, 2009 12:58 am

Modifly will then suggest a Knee-Mac wall.
Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:47 pm

Make him in a Magic jersey just to make Modifly sad and think about 'what could have been'.

Then Modilfy would feel bad he'd remember the "Houston Rockets jersey patch" I gave him for 2k9.

Err, that art is just a combination of vector shapes and pen tool strokes. I hope you get it.

Just read the previous pages Narcius. I don't even know if you're even trying to read the tutorials that you actually requested.

New stuff up:

An upcoming art with a comic book theme -- this time hand-drawn by yours truly, to be re-drawn and colored in Photoshop.
The technique that will be used here is similar to that used in the Siege of Gotham Batman comic book art.
This upcoming work is fictional, started off as a boredom-killer during a three-hour vacant period at work. Spider-Man was drawn at the back of an examination paper.

You wanna say this is hand-drawn?
I Envy You,i really do.
Thu Nov 19, 2009 2:43 am

That is, indeed, hand-drawn. You can actually see the pencils, I forgot to erase them.

Plus the test questions are awfully visible. I think the best thing to clean this is to
clean this up by retracing the lines using the pen tool.

Looks like the cover of the Friend Or Foe game, will be interesting to see what you do with it.
Thu Nov 19, 2009 5:24 pm
Since I had the illustration scrapped up because of having it drawn on an exam paper, I decided to "clean" the sketch from scratch. Tedious work, so far:

Looks pretty good.
Though it could look better i think.
Thu Nov 19, 2009 10:08 pm
That's actually the same drawing, only re-traced with the pen tool.
Thu Nov 19, 2009 11:43 pm
i can see great thing happening here

edit: did you copy the cover of the xbox game? what was that name??? not the web of shadows....

this game!

No I didn't. I was just sitting at the faculty room bored and I thought of drawing Spidey and that's what came out. I didn't even know that the cover of Friend or Foe is like that so uhh, coincidence I think.

I've kinda been studying anatomy/drawing myself so this is cool. Spidey looks a little chubby and his torso is too long, I suggest using curvier lines to really bring out the superhero proportions of him, still very nice work though.
Some sites that helped me out with drawing -

Well I can't really make an excuse, I used to draw a lot of DBZ stuff before and it seems that the buffed-up drawing was inherited to Spidey.

I'll see what I can do, and thanks for the recommended sites. I know it's hard to draw a pose for a comic book hero.

yeah it looks different

the right arm
Maaarf, i like these links, maybe i could learn too

Same here. Especially the left calf, as if he had too much spidey donuts.
If you can stomach it and not go ghey, you can try looking at pics of male gymnasts as a basis for Spidey's physique.
