NBA Live 08 Online Play?

How can we play Online, just bought the game a few days ago................

Is there anybody that can show me how, and then play a game later on, i think i've gotten pretty good....

Also need help putting on the TUP NBA Live 09 thing tried and couldn't do it.

The only way to play online in NBA Live 08 is a Direct IP connection; either you or an opponent hosts the game and connect to one another via your IP address. Only the digital download version of NBA Live 08 supported EASO and EASO support has since been discontinued anyway.

You can, but only through Direct IP games.

How do patches work with online play? I mean I haven't been online(haven't got installed components) but do updated cyberfaces, portraits, jerseys, etc. work with online play? thanks

Art patches should all work automatically. If you want to use updated rosters for online play, you'll need to replace the files in the various database folders (including the OrigDB folder under the main game folder).

Yes, it's the only online mode officially supported by the DVD version of the game.

I have the DVD version.
