Once the .iff and player types are figured out I would love to start editing teams. Team names and team history etc.....I want to bring back the Seattle Supersonics!

Also did you notice a attribute field for fastbreak? It used to always be a hidden attribute.

Vl@d,

Do you have any ideal how the portraits links to the CF? The portrait editor is out but we can only replace whatever existing portraits. There are 100 portraits in the portrait.iff/portrait.cdf

The portraits seem to be arranged randomly, unlike the roster where you can see the players by team,

Maybe you can also check it out, so we can add portraits to all players missing their portraits and add new ones as well if possible.

Another thing to check out, the latest roster "unlocked" ux008 and ux017 uniform iff files. we should probably try and figure out what the latest roster does to make that work.

Actually, again, I don't know the release date of the new version, because I want to make everything connected with players editable... So, for teams, it will be later. I know, that you want this very much, but I can't help, because I have to study at the University and also work on some other programs, which are not freeware...

I don't know. I couldn't manage to open Portraits' file due to I'm using Vista x64. I suppose, the links maybe inside the roster... but maybe not.

Mmm... no, this should be changed in teams' records. But for now you can place them instead of some other player (e. g. some CAP).

Another thing to check out, the latest roster "unlocked" ux008 and ux017 uniform iff files. we should probably try and figure out what the latest roster does to make that work.

Which one, Jao? Did they release something last week?

yep, the roster is dated November 7th and is available on the 2kshare official rosters section

i didnt get a chance to check it out during lunch unfortunately

Hmm, it seems like they added 3 new players to the roster.
I really like the fact, my Editor opens it without any problem.

By the way, I found the values, which represent Loaylity and the Factors like Play4Winner and Financial Security. Still, have to find proper formulas for the first 2 of them...

wow:) do you think its possible to assign a new skin tone ? for ex 7 for mj's leg accessory ? :) i wonder do u see what file/iff sequence certains values refer to ? if so then maybe they can be changed...

sorry if my question is stupid but i basically have no clue how u pull this through:)

Yeah that is what I was thinking. I will do some research on that.

New skin tone for arms is assigned via the IFF-file. For legs it's assigned using the Editor, but, the funny thing is, that this also affects a little bit the upper part of body. :)))) I mean, if I make legs of KG white, the torso will be also lighter, it will become some kind of middle-brown color. :)
Accessories can't be assigned for now... I'll take a look on the colors later a bit (still, seems, we can't change the color of a single player's accessories, maybe only team colors).

This one was done 2 or 3 days ago - read the topic. The full list of injuries (approximately 45 different) will be also published.

Thx, man. :) For now I have mostly 4's and 5's (5 is the highest mark here, in RF).

Making a small list of interface-features for v. 0.6.1 It will also include imperial and metric systems...

im really glad its somebody from the forum that is working on the roster editor...even though they did a nice job, last year it was really hard to reach hades or fynn to give them feedback ...

right now finances arent great, but u can expect a little xmas present on your paypal near christmas time :xmas:

lol maybe when u a done decyphering all roster stuff and release the final version, u can try to work on decoding audio files:) so i can :boohoo: :rimshot: :boohoo: this baby

Great work so far on your NBA 2k10 Editor.

I would like to donate but I have one problem with the editor.

There is no way to Global Edit Tendencies and Ratings.

Injuries and mass editing a stat line ex. TDUNK to all players 99

or ex. INJ to 0 for not injured.

I see many others are in need of this function.

Thanks for your time and effort and support but please add a global editing function to this great editor
