Intentional foul???

Exactly same problem for me..there is a option in my nba ->nba rules..that intentional foul on or off...but if it turns off then the intentional foul button does not work and if it turns on then that happend....after I press button of intentional foul player foul opposition..but game doesnot stop..opposition loose ball..but game still on...what is this...????

only this time we were testing each other's nerves to see who had the guts to hold out the longest before calling a personal foul. There were occasions when we would hold back for two or three minutes — an eternity in an NBA game — before blowing the whistle. It didn't matter if bodies were flying all over the place; no fouls were called because no one wanted to lose the bet.

Early in the contest, the announcers would say, "Holy cow! They're really letting them play tonight!" If they only knew...

There is no intentional foul on 2k10, it's a known bug. It will be fixed on the first patch coming out within a few days.

Whats up with that cheeky emotion? btw i am also having that kind of problem i cant seem to commit an intentional foul on my opponent

No way to fix with Tournament which I already started,,,Iwill wait for patch..hopefully it will fix

i download kova rosters, sliders and settings... and it works perfectly .
Also it has new players in it, i highly recommend it.

There is. Intentional foul used to work for me but not anymore. I think that it's when you play a blacktop game where they turn everything off it stops working. It should work after you've deleted your settings file.

I just re-installed the game (on PC) and intentional fouls are working for me again. They were working but suddenly stopped working.

I and CPU can do intentional fouls..but a foul doens't get call..you just steal the ball everytime..stupid

You can delete your saves files as they've said , then create a new one. But its a hassle when you are not using pre-made sliders. Its a 2K9 inherited bug.

If intentional foul is not working, you can try this:

In(-Windows 7) C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K10
1.Copy(back-up) the "Saves" folder first before you delete anything, then paste it somewhere else.
2.Then delete "Saves" folder -of course not your back-up.
3. Paste the copied back-up "Saves" folder back inside "NBA 2K10" folder.
4. See if it solves the problem.

It worked on mine. Maybe you guys try this out...

Ooh, one thing, corrupting your saves files(settings?) will risk that intentional foul bug to occur.
Mine was when my PC rebooted in the middle of the game(Association), the next time I play IF is not working.

but when i re-setup my options,, IF isn't working anywore.. *sigh*, 2k Sport must fix it ASAP.

You have to delete "setting" file, this will reset your setting but it should work probably after you reconfig your setting. Make sure you memories your setting before deleting it.
