No Sports Ticker???

Can anyone help me I have seen in 2K10 videos there is a ticker at the bottom that shows sports scores, but I don't have this in my game. Is this because I have the European Version and not the US version??? Any help would be appreciated.

how'd you enable it?

Well i've been searching many days now how to enable the sports ticker and i can't find anything.

That probably shows only american sports so its useless to most of us and thats why its disabled

im able to get the sports ticker if im connected to NBA today...what version of 2k do you guys have? Servers are down again so i cant connect to NBA today so no tickers or anything....

I think this is just for the american release of the game. Don't think it's featured if you're outside the States.

in place of the "2K Ticker Settings" i got "Codes"...

I live in the US I just downloaded the gamersgate version. Is there some way to get the ticker into my game or do I have to buy the steam version???

Is there any way to find out which game files contain the ticker?? I really don't want to buy the game twice.

yea I did, totally worth it too because I had nothing to do that weekend

just start the download overnight

I wish it updated faster. It can be like 3am and it's telling you second quarter scores of games that ended at 9pm.

And that it had a toggle to make it only appear so often.

that's my story about 2K Sports TICKER:

i pre'orderd 2k10 from GamersGate (i wanted the game early like everyone else)

now i heard there is American Version with more features (real courts and sports-ticker)

so i bought the game today from the Steam

and I really noticed the games files are different from one another

so i thought i have now the "real" version

but unfortunately when i run 2k10 steam version

i didn't see any ticker just like eu version i saw "CODES" button where "TICKER SETTINGS" should be

but at least i saw nice courts (for example: spurs court with right logo)

anyway i paid to GamersGate:17.99$
and for the Steam:19.99$

and i still don't have SportsTicker

the reasons could be:

*Pc version don't have ticker any version

*2k10 ticker work only with american IP

anyway i don't care about the money (that's for 2k11 pc version )

maybe u guys have any idea i give up.

you could try and start it with american ip although I doubt it will work, but who knows its 2k...

the solution is:

* go to "region and languages" setting and change everything there to U.S.A

but the bad news

it's work only on my us version (steam)

and not on GamersGate Version

NBA Live 99 had a ticker.

guys, do you think there's just a file in the US version's directory which is needed to be copied into a gamersgate version so it can have the sports ticker? Like what we did with the court and floor files (US version has the more updated and correct floors)
