Celebrity

Do you want to be a celebrity? Are you already? Ok ok :P
But on a serious note, i would choose no,yes they have big amount of money, but no. Every papparazzi is after you day and night. Even celebrity want's to go to beach peacefully. There are lot's of alcohol and drug problems in celebrity world. Of course they love having fun time, but they also drink and do cocaine because of their worries. I wouldn't want to be a celebrity but it would be interesting to try celeb life 1 day.

I'm not sure, but I think I already am a celebrity. You may have heard of me, they call me Jesus.

Not every celebrity is constantly followed by paparazzis, drink all the time and do drugs. Hence it wouldn't be a bad thing, as often if you're a celebrity, you have a buttload of money and you can enjoy maybe easier life, but if I had to choose, rather not.

Being good in academics? Preposterous.
Knowing martial arts and kicking ass? Same with that too.

Having funny accents? Can't argue with the truth though.

Sure, why not. Actually having a talent that would make me famous is another thing altogether, but then Shallow Hal gives hope to all aspiring screenwriters so perhaps that will be my calling.

Shallow Hal... Never thought I would see that movie brought up ever again. To answer the question: yes. As it usually comes with the perks of wealth and fame, iot makes life a hell of a lot easier, in nearly every aspect. Sure, some things would suck. Loss of (more) privacy, the possibility of letting the celebrity become you and the loss of appreciation for the smaller things in life. However, being at the pinnacle of today's retarded celebrity culture, not having to work a(nother) day in your life and the artificial senmse of self-importance is fantastic.

So yes, why not?

Admit it, you just want Seth MacFarlane to make fun of you.

And why wouldn't I? No doubt it would be another example of comic genius.

Re: Celebrity

Plus it wouldn't just be a 5 second shot at you, you'd actually get 3 full minutes dedicated to you, all completely unrelated to the main "story" of course (can that word even be used for FG anymore?).

Exactly, and I'd be proud in the knowledge that without me, they wouldn't have been able to finish the episode.

Well, there's always Conway Twitty in case 2-3 minutes need to be randonly filled.

Not to mention assorted clips of Seth MacFarlane counting his money and laughing. I'd almost perfer that to another Conway Twitty cutaway.

I'll take the dead air. Just a black screen. Let me think the power has gone out.

I have interesting question to you guys. Would things go boring because you can afford anything all the time?
Things are more interesting to get when you have to work for it,i mean harder work than casual acting and singing. And when you are rich ,you have so MANY "friends" (N) Eventually you broke down and you will bcome alcoholic or cocaine addict.

Being able to afford anything you want is never boring. And it's not like celebrities haven't earned their money (except Paris of course).

It depends on your personality, I suppose. If you're a working actor or a producer/writer, chances are you'll be too busy with various projects to sit around the house and do nothing or just spend all the time shopping. Presumably you would have some true friends who you would socialise with. I think having all that money would just allow you to be comfortable rather than be bored and if you're careful with your money and your investments, you're not going to be faced with the worry of debts and making ends meet week-to-week.

You would certainly have to be cautious of people pretending to be your friend to leech off you, but that's not to say you couldn't have true friends, people you've known for years and whom you can trust. Likewise, while celebrities do get caught up in personal vices that threaten their careers/health/life, not all of them do. No more so than the rest of us, at any rate.

Seeing as how my own family taught me what it's like to have stalkers, I would say no. I am way happier doing shit without people bugging me. Since I told my mom she is a cunt and I threatened to beat up my dad, life is peaceful oncemore. I also told my sister to get a life of her own like 5 years ago and now she's a succesfull lawyer. She's not happy, but none of my fam is. And I doubt they ever will be. Too busy with other people to live their own lives. That is the number one reason why people can't be happy. Jealousy. Retardation incarnate.
