Just a day before the season opener against the Rockets,Brandon Roy,the Blazers superstar told ESPN that his team is ready for glory. He was invited on the NBA Coast to Coast show to discuss the preseason games.Roy was asked what the Blazers have to do this year and he asked :
"Im glad to play here.We had amazing season last year but we weren't ready for postseason. We were young..i think now its our time.We have great team full of hopes,Greg is alright and he'll be on 100%,LaMarcus improved a lot in the last year as you know.We signed Andre Miller who is one of the best guards in the league,we have great coach. Our fans are ready for us,i think we can went to the Conference Finals and why not win it all..we can win it."
Aren't Roy's hopes too high ? Can the Blazers do the amazing ? We'll see...'cause this is the NBA..where amazing happens

Early that day the Blazers announced that they signed power forward Maceo Baston on a 2-year deal. He'll give LaMarcus Aldridge some resting time in the hard games.

Good luck mate. I originally thought your title was a reference to Rip Hamilton, but then I looked it up (I'm Australian). Hope Greg Oden comes good for you, the potential for Portland is massive.
