Hot Spots 'n' Favorite shots for specific players

I was wondering if people have noticed certain players will shoot a very high percentage doing a certain shot. Post them here!

In my own team I play Walter McCarthy at powerforward and when he is posting up if make him do a fadeaway towards the baseline. Hits nearly every time if he is in good position and your timing and choreography are good. It seems to be easier to hit them from the far the side in relation the camera's point of view. Those shots are just so sweet. And McCarthy is the only player in my team who can do it.

I'm looking for the complete powerforward. Someone who can block shots, hit hookshots, make fadeaways, make a 15 ft jumpshot, hit the three and use the jumpstep like a guard/forward would do. McCarthy can shoot threes/fadeaways and jumpshots but hasn't got any kind of hookshot and is a mediocre at dunking/inside scoring.

I also tend to make D.Wade shoot a deep fadeaway right of an inbounds pass. He'll run catch and hit the fadeaway shooting with a very high percentage.

Is there any player in particular who is very good at hitting those shots where you jumpstep backwards and make a jumpshot? (just like Finley does 'm)

tim thomas and duncan hits fadeaway shots quite effectively

- steve nash, baron davis and the like are good at hitting the rainbow threes when running in transistion

- all tall guards can hit that one handed shot from about 8ft almost every time

- tall power players can hit that leaner from down low almost every time

- stoj is dynamite from the set 3

Some observations from using the Knicks:

- Carlie Ward is unstopable with the three off of the pick and roll if the defense is the slightest bit late.

- Houston is a sure bet if you can get him to shoot that close-range one-hander everyone is mentioning

- Van Horn and Anderson are excellent for the open corner threes off of the double-team in the post

-re Ward: ward in reality isn't a pick and roll jump shooter like starbury is but ah whatever .

-re Van Horn: I've never had success with this guy. man i don't like him in real life, and this game doesn't change a thing about my opinion (not as if it would anyways). he just can't seem to hit a shot for me .

with paul pierce, go to the wing and shoot a fadeaway. cross 'em over first, get some space on btwn you and your defender, then hit the fade.

a lot of the points do well with the transition threes. jason williams is another.
