Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

Just curious about the difference of the two modes for Live and 2K? Be a Pro doesn't seem to get much attention as My Player? Is Be a Pro too shallow or something?

there is no Be a Pro in Live 10

Kind of a walkover for My Player in that respect.

But even if we're talking about last year's Be a Pro, as I understand it My Player is a fully fledged career mode whereas Be a Pro in NBA Live 09 was a single game mode. So if it's a career mode experience you want, 2K does have that hands down.

It was just one game? So it's basically a game on player lock?

basicly yes but the only difference was you would get a grade and a comment. That made it worth playing

Correct. Oddly enough, the PS2 version of NBA Live 09 included a full season Be a Pro mode but it wasn't perfect. NBA Live 09 PS2 also had its fair share of issues in other respects so it's not a release I would've recommended.

my player mode is definitely way way way better than be a pro mode of live. not sure if there is a pro mode in live 10 though. i will check it too thanks for this thread. major problems with my player mode of the other b-game is freezing & a clone glitch.

There's not, NBA Live 10 is light on game modes. I'm definitely a fan of the gameplay improvements, but as I've said in other threads NBA Live 11's focus should be on the game modes as that should make for a fine overall package.
