why only FG's, 3 pt, and inside?

sorry if this has been brought up, but why did EA only put for player ratings FG's, 3 pointers, and inside scoring? IMO, there should be an inside scoring (with the basket being the center, have the radius be 6-8 feet), medium range (from inside to 18 feet), and long range (18 feet and out). it's kinda ridiculous IMO to not put this in...i don't like 3 pointers being a separate stat because that means if your player is just barely inside, his percentage could be higher or lower...when in the nba a foot doesn't really matter.

There have been quite a few players that i can remember that were good three point shooters, but absolute crap if they so much as had a toe over the line. Dan Majerle, Dennis Scott, and John Starks are just three off the top of my head.

Change this to four different areas and i'll support this whole heartedly. Hell, how about diferentiating between baseline scorers and those that are better at the top of the key?.

agreed, but try using jordan from the all stars he can hit everything inside the 3 but 1cm out and his shot is totally adjusted slightly unreleastic i think,
