Fifa 10

Postby Srbija on Mon Aug 31, 2009 3:28 am

Coming out October 1st here in Australia, thankfully we are getting the demo in 11 days according to the Fifa10 website (http://www.fifa10.com)

Be sure to check out the video's for it at IGN (http://au.media.ps3.ign.com/media/143/1 ... ids_1.html) especially the Game Improvements Demo which looks incredible what they are going to do just hope that alot of those glitches in Fifa 09 will be fixed.

Share your thoughts on it, I personally can't wait until this is released.

OMG, i am so stoked for this game. I thought they couldn't make 09 any better but it looks like they will do so. :applaud:

A few things that i would like fixed up is the responsiveness of the defenders. At times they felt so dull, static and easily beaten.
Another annoying glitch was the ability to make a "dream team" that was playable online.
Looking forward to playing with The Galacticos  and of course Liverpool. YNWA

I'm a big fan of FIFA,and i follow the series in many years.I'm a PC gamer too so i can't have the same version on PClike NG,but hopefully FIFA 11 will be a big change. Also in PC in FIFA 10 a good job is done especially in the gameplay

Must buy for me. It seems much more smooth than 09 so I'm sure it'll be another big soccer game from EA Sports. Btw the demo will be out on 10th September. Can't wait. :D

Agreed on the defenders part, but the custom team glitch was fixed after one of the first updates to the game.

FIFA 10 demo is out now, I'm currently about to go download it so all of you other people that got a PS3 (not sure bout 360 but I'm guessing it will be there aswell) go download it now!

Played the demo today. Man this game feels and plays incredibly, aside from the fact that it's too freaking fast (even with Game Speed down turn to Slow it feels still pretty fast).
I played lots and lots of 09 and I thought it was great, but the way the gameplay turned out in 10 is just awesome.

It doesn't feel like the ball's on a string going from player to player anymore. It's much more interactive and it doesn't look like the defense has a disadvantage anymore, as the passes have to be played very exactly to get through.

I think I'm gonna get this.

BTW, I love how generous they are with the Fifa demos.

Downloaded and played the demo just under an hour ago. Was impressed & FIFA seems to feel good. Will take a look at PES demo in next week. Can't say that I'll get either game, but you never know.

You'll get used to the speed after a while, I personally play it on normal or fast, but other than that couldn't of said it better myself. Fifa 09 was a huge improvement to Fifa 08 and looks like Fifa 10 is going to continue the good trend of improvement of the Fifa series. The gameplay is incredible, the realism in it is just amazing. Have never seen a Fifa game feel so good to play. Normally its the same shit, updated rosters, one little new feature that they make out to be a big thing, but this one seems like it will be a Fifa to remember.

This demo is a good taste of whats to come in the full game. Can't wait.

Btw, there's only 12 days until its released. Woah, days have been flying past.

So far my team mates are unhappy about me wanting deviding the plays, even though all they do is walk into defenders. Great. I do like that my better game average is keeping me in the nation side.

I love this game mode, but too many instances of "I am open, where the fuck are you passing the ball to?".

Ok. After getting used to this game (it's the first fifa I played in almost 10 years) I have one thing to say. Wow.
Repairing the non working trick stick helped a lot too. Pes 10 better be devine if I am going to be swayed.

Would be good to hear some more impressions on this game as I'm on the fence on whether to get it or not. I'm not a hardcore football guy (although I do play indoor soccer weekly, go to the occasional A-League game & last time I checked am coming 32nd in the country in the Fox fantasy A-League). Demo seemed pretty good & a lot more realistic than prior years.

Cheers man. I decided to play demo again, this time with Chelsea against Barcelona. Started in Michael Ballack (have always been a fan of his) & on one phase he played a through ball to Anelka, who was moving into corner of the box but had 2 guys coming at him, so I played a backheel back to Ballack who was following the play. I spun Ballack, steadied him & fired away from a few metres outside the box. An absolute screamer into the back of the net. The thing I really liked about it was Anelka was all but headed to a position to do a cross & Barcelona's keeper started to move into position to be ready for it. My backheel must've caught the keeper off guard as he tried to scramble back in vain to stop Ballack's strike.

And it was after that moment I knew I would get the game. I will go out & pick up a copy tomorrow  I really like the fact that the CPU goalkeeper doesn't cheese recover & if you make a good play, you are able to score.

Am looking forward to taking the All Whites to Bahrain & hoping to get a result in the game, hoping it translate to real life :P

Aha yeah, there is just so much more realism to the game than ever before. I mean, I thought Fifa 09 was good (apart from a few annoying glitches), but in the end it still felt just like a game whereas this actually feels life-like and for people that actually play football in real life, you can definately relate to the structure of the game and the movement of how the game is played. Definately number one game of the year for me.

I've been playing this on the 360 and I dunno... not enjoying it as much as 09. I don't like the way they've changed the through balls (lofted and ground), passes are too slow and also they've changed the finesse shot which has fucked me up quite a bit.
