What is the crowd saying?

I am playing a dynasty with the Hawks (this isnt really related to that though, IMO) and with 2 minutes left I am up 8 points against the Hornets. Whenever players on my team have the ball, the crowd starts chanting something. It cant be "MVP" because it sounds like a 1 syllable word. It sounds like they are saying "P" P" or something.

Someone please inform me what they are saying.

yah i've heard this too before, i think it is mvp.. it only seems to happen when one of your better players touches the ball...

its MVP, its just a screw up in the game kinda, cause I had it in my first game with the Hawks except they were chanting MVP for The Baron

and to the idiot: the hawks have plenty of talent, they just have no team chemistry.

This is just a friendly reminder, not a warning, but that is how a lot of flame wars start: please try to be a little more diplomatic. I know that's a pretty low-level insult, but it's still unnecessary. Thanks.

I played with houston once, and i heard the crowd said something like "YAO YAO YAO YAO!!!..." has anyone ever hear that or is it just me?

Some players do have special chants. The crowd will chant "MJ! MJ!" for Michael Jordan, "Larry! Larry!" for Larry Bird, "Shaq! Shaq!" for Shaquille O'Neal, and as you've discovered, "Yao! Yao!" for Yao Ming. There are other players who have their own unique chants as well; I've got a feeling Kobe Bryant is one of them.

Garnett has one too, they say KG and so does Spreewell, they go Spree....Spreee

Check out the crowd when MJ is playin, they go nuts chanting "MJ, MJ, MJ" like he is the best basketball player to ever play the game or something, how dumb is that.....

BTW In my game the crowd only goes nuts when Jordan is in the zone.

i have T-mac and Duncan in my team
for most of the time, the crowd will say"T-mac....T-mac..."

but once i got T-mac on the bench in the last few minutes of the game, they will say "MVP...MVP..."

I experienced PANDAMONIUM through out the WHOLE ARENA playing a Home Game with the Cavs......LeBron goes up! Dunks the ball Scores his first 50 Points and the croud is like "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " and LeBron is just standing there waving his arms left and right Signaling a "Not in My House" taunt to the crowd and the crwd just goes BESERK! And they like start screaming for LeBron and the Crowd gets out of their seats.... !

I was playing the Lakers once, and the crowd cheered "GP, GP, GP, GP..." over and over again when Gary Payton got the ball.

sumtyms when i shoot i three the crowd shout "Three!" whether it goes in or not

I'm glad EA decided not to go all "PC" about the game dialogue this year. In a one on one matchup, I heard one player call the other a b*tch. If I wanted sophistication or culture, I'd go to an opera.

I'm playing Dallas in Dynasty Mode and fans at my homecourt shouts "NASH"! Cool!
