Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

1. A completely reworked game commentary
2. And Put back dunks
All I'm asking for

well, dynamic commentary this year should help with #1, I dont think you can write it off just yet.
put back dunks are a surprise omission this year, you'll get your wish for 11
All I want for Live 11 is a customizable controller scheme. And create a team, and owner mode, and be a pro, and actual dynasty changes, and ....

...a PC version.

I'm shocked you didn't mention old school players and teams or the ability to create them again on our own and use them in dynasty mode like real teams.

I'd like them, sure. But if I had to pick just one big thing for next year right now, I'd say a PC release.

hehehe nice idea Andrew...
I think because that EA Sports lose a couple of fans in last years

I'd say they have, especially with 2K being released on the PC. However, if NBA Live 10 delivers and then NBA Live 11 returns to the PC platform - certainly nothing confirmed or spoken of at this time but here's hoping - I think they could win a fair few of those people back.

If both Live 11 and 2K11 were on PC, that could be an epic modding battle on this site.

Agreed! If Live 11 is able to be patched, that is.

My choice of which game to get would be dictated by
1. the one with better gameplay
2. the cheaper one
3. the game that would be heavily modded by the likes of patching clowns like Jaosming, Pdub, and Andreas (where the hell is that clown?)

Andrew, that would be great!PC version is the only i want from NBA live 11(ported from consoles of course)
And patching friendly of course

All I want is improved gameplay, scrap all the game modes and just focus on gameplay.

That's kind of what they did this year. At the end of the day, you need those game modes for replay value though. There's only so many "meaningless" games you can play and still be interested, so you need ranked online play, online leagues, OTP/Live Run, Dynamic Season, Dynasty Mode, all that stuff to change things up and get you hooked.
I think NBA Live 06 for the Xbox 360 is a good example of how important those extra modes are. The gameplay was alright, but the game was very poorly received due to its lack of game modes beyond a single season mode.

You know.
I was just about to start a thread to ask if you can do putback dunks in NBA Live 10. Damn I am really disappointed. Not much of a "sim" if you can't do that isn't it?

It isn't even patchable, damnit!
Mon Oct 05, 2009 7:56 pm
That's a bit of a stretch. I mean, it's certainly disappointing we don't have that control and hopefully it is added as soon as next year, but to me their absence doesn't make or break the game being a sim.

But it takes away an awesome part of the game. It may happen rarely in real life, but it is by no means a small thing. Everybody knows a putback slam is a big event, and if they could get regular tipins and alleyoops to function, how could they not just a have a contextual dunk animation when attempting a tipin?

Oh no question, I was disappointed to hear "not this year" on tip dunks.
