2k vs nba live demo

i am a 2k fan all these years and this year really is the year for nba live 10
i played both demos and live is jst soooo much more fun
but the a.i is still really weak and not smooth at all
either than that i think i "MITE" bein goin wit nba live this year

I thought the 2K9 demo (and what I played of the final product for that matter) was more impressive than the 2K10 demo, though I understand the 2K10 demo was pretty stripped down.

I haven't played the 2k10 demo, but it sounds pretty bad. Which gets me thinking, what was the point in even releasing one as people on the fence may swing Live's way. A demo after all is to swing the fence sitters like me. I played FIFA 10 demo & was surprised by how much better the game felt to last time I played it in FIFA 08. Now I'm seeing reviews above 9.0, so I'm now tempted to take a look at it, despite not being interested at all prior to playing demo.

The 2k Demo is garbage. NBA Live's demo is just amazing compared to it. 2k is slowly fallin off for real. You can't even do NOTHING in the demo. You can't even run a play. There's nothing to be excited about playing that. Can't wait to get Live 10

Well i heard the final version of both games are pretty good. Not like the demos but still with moments that will frustrate you on both sides.

I guess if your a die hard bb fan having both might be the way to go this year. I plan on using 2K10 as my association game vs the CPU. Live 10 is going to be great for me vs other users because i love the animations when a human controll the LIve 10 players.

I think if both games are even slightly better than their 09 counterparts then i see nothing wrong with just having both this year. Just don't pay attention to the guys pimping one game over the other. Take a look at what both games might offer and then decide which one is going to give you the most burn for your $60 or like i said get both and spend the $120.00

Nothing wrong with owning both. It might be that you prefer one for online play and the other for offline play; anyone still on the fence should probably at least rent both before making up their mind whichever way (Live, 2K or both).
