How to edit TASK LIST

I believe the this is designed for default 12-min/qtr mode.

But I'm playing Dynasty Mode with 6 min/qtr :

Is there a way to edit the TASK LIST so that it is realistic to get the Season Task like 1700 points in a season and so on.

Locate tasklist.dbf. Open it with DB Commander or the DBF editor of your choice. You'll notice that the tasks aren't labelled, so the easiest method is to change some of the lower tasks so that they award more points.

For example:

The first task in the DBF is 12 points in a quarter (with a reward of 5 points). If you edit the PTS_AWARD field, you can modify the amount of points you will be awarded. If you change the value in this field to 25000, the game will award you 25000 NBA Store/Dynasty points for scoring 12 points in a quarter.

Andrew, which tasklist.dbf do I open? There's one for saves/001 , 002 and so forth.

Also, where can I get DB Commander? Or is it on my computer because I can't find it.

U should work on the tasklist.dbf of the save of the dinasty you're playing.
You can get DB commander in this site, in the download section, but it's only a trial version.

I just got the DB Commander, found the Dynasty file that I wanted to edit, and used the DB Commander. I changed every PTS_AWARD to 9,000. How do I save the changes? Do I have to save the changes? And will the changes appear in the game once I save it? Please give all the details. Thanks

Changes are saved automatically when you edit data using DB Commander. The changes will be reflected in your Dynasty once you re-load it.

i wanted to edit not the points being granted but the criteria.

like...i would like to edit season task...

1700 pts/season to 1000 pts/season

Then locate the value you wish to change in the PTS_REQD field, and change it accordingly.
