NBA LIVE 10 Release Date Thread

First post has been updated with a few international release dates that I've come across, though we should probably treat everything except the October 6th date for the US/Canada as tentative for the moment. They seem in line with previous years though so they're probably a good approximation if nothing else.

Updated again. Seems the Australian date is still unknown, contrary to earlier reports. I inquired at my local EB Games today and there's a projected release date of late October/early November, which is a little later than recent years which has seen a release a day or two after the game comes out in North America. It's also worth noting the Aussie release for NBA 2K10 is November 9th so we could be looking at a similar date for NBA Live 10. In any case, nothing's set in stone with the Australian release as yet except that we'll be getting it...at some point.

Here's hoping, though it's odd we don't have a confirmed Australian date by now. I could be reading too much into that though.

Aussies can just import it from the UK (for xbox 360) with no issues on playability. It usually works out cheaper too.

Certainly another option, though with the exchange rate and postage costs it might not beat JB's prices. But it's certainly worth noting.

Contrary to the report of a November 9th release for NBA 2K10, I noticed that dvdorchard.com.au is listing October 9th as the Aussie release for NBA 2K10, so maybe we will only have to wait a couple of days after the US release as in recent years after all.

According to DVDOrchard.com.au's new listing, we're looking at an October 8th release which is unconfirmed but seems likely given the release dates in recent years. A lot better than late October/early November. First post has been updated accordingly.

i asked at my local JB Hifi and GAME and they both told me Oct 8th for both games NBA 2k10 and NBA Live 10.

Over here in Singapore, NBA Live 10 will be released on 6 Oct.

Excellent, thanks for the info. Gives me a bit more confidence in an October 8th release. If I can't snag a copy from EA I'll be picking up from JB Hi-Fi, they tend to have the best prices.

I'm lucky enough to have a JB HI-FI and EB Games at Westfield down the road from me..

So heres a hint, get a VIP card from EB if you don't have one, they usually cost about $5..

Then when NBA drops (Oct 8), get the cheapest price u can find (most likely JB hi-fi), then take that price to EB and they will match it. Now here's the sneaky part... Use your VIP card and this will give you 10% more on your trade in for NBA Live 09, will only save you another $3 but its still $3 more in your pocket.. haha

I won't be trading in NBA Live 09 but there might be something else I can trade in. I've actually got a couple of Coles gift cards that I could use at Target, my local centre has a JB, EB and Target so I'll just see which one can give me the best deal and pick it up from there. I may be keenly looking forward to NBA Live 10, but I'm also keen to be thrifty.

The store where I pre-ordered my version of Live 10 will send the game on October ,2nd (friday) so there is a fair chance that I'll get it on Oct. 5th (monday) which will mean that I'll get that one day before european release date. I hope so !

Maybe it is, but when quiting the demo it is written : "In stores EVERYWHERE on Oct.6th" But it doesn't matter as far as I get it before any release date

It does say that, but I'd say that's misleading as the Aussie release date is the 8th as well and I doubt we'd be getting it on the 6th instead, since we're ahead of North America as far as time zones are concerned and I doubt it would come out in Australia before the States and Canada. In any case, if you can get it before the scheduled release so much the better.

I'll add that to the list as well. Either the 7th or 8th seem quite possible (and a lot better than "late October, early November").

Unfortunately the shop in wich I pre-ordered Live 10 has a delay. Instead of sending the game today they say that the wii be sent on Monday...
It looks like I'll be getting the game on Oct.6th wich is not that bad cause European release date is supposed to be on Thursday.

a good buddy of mine from OS has the game already......

He manages to get them early every year in his location. Out here in Phoenix AZ they never release anything early...

But there is a Best buy that is sailing the game for $49.99 i think on release

Staff at JB Hi-fi on Queen St in New Zeland told me that the game will be released this Friday, 9th October here.
