Fair call, it was certainly somewhat of a token appearance for having a career year on a Bulls team that was doing well following Jordan's first retirement. BJ was no scrub, but not your prototype All-Star player either.

I think East also had John Starks & Charles Oakley in it, so was weak year for East

And Horace Grant, who was also having a career year. Derrick Coleman and Kenny Anderson were in there as well, though they were talented players whose careers could've been so much more.
