I have a question. If i start new assocation now with part 1, i dont have to start assocation again then part 2 will be uploaded?

Could I have your permission to create a .torrent file for this release? In the .torrent file, I would include a hyperlink to this thread in addition to all of the files you have in your release, and I would name it something like "NBA2K9_PC_Realistic_Roster_Update_by_Albys_ver.9_Sep. 2009."

The advantages of the .torrent file are that (1) it should improve overall transfer speeds if enough users continue to seed the file (and since this is a legal torrent, users should not have any fear of seeding it), and (2) it would also make this roster update accessible to more people, including anyone who searches torrent sites for "nba2k9", maybe giving you a little more exposure in the process.

I think is better if you create 1 .torrent file for both parts, is more simple.


Actually the upload of RR9 part 2 (230 MB) is 19%.
Speed 16 kb/s....
Again 3+ hours.
My problem is not sendspace or other filehoster site, but my italian network.

Great! Yeah, I understand that it's not a sendspace issue, and that it's your own personal connection's limited upload ability. My interest in the .torrent is mostly to give this update more widespread exposure, but it might also allow people to download at over 500 kb/s if there are enough seeds (my connection allows 200+ k/s uploads, so I'll do my part!).

I will try to be online when the second part comes out to get the .torrent up quickly, but if I miss you in 3-4 hours, I will be online again in about 8 hours to setup the torrent.

One question: Is it compatible with JUZA-Babyface Rosters? Because of all the iff-files and so on, I would like to have both Updates installed at one time and then decide which Roster + Settings I use, so do the updates affect each other because of shoes, cyberfaces or different player files?

With pack 2 all cyberfaces will be right.
Some portraits are wrong, but just 4-5 and for minor player.
No portrait for David Andersen, sorry.

At this time, i try upload tonight.


RR9 work perfectly with original game without patch and also with game with official patch.
Without official patch the gameplay is better (official patch is shit for me, because i solved the "too many shots in the paint problem" without destroy post-play ), but this not depend by me.
However, for both game version the RR9 show all new features by official patch (new iso and dunk)
