Game Closes When I Click "Forward (Next)"

Sometimes when I click forward or next to go to the next screen and closes the game and goes to windows. Anyone else with this problem?

Are you using CustomArt?

I dont know. How can I check? I never made one change. Is customart on when you install the game?

this year's game crashes a lot when customart is enabled so it's better to have it turned off.

So then why the heck is the game crashing? CustomArt is OFF for me, but it still crashes.

I was making a dynasty team, with a fantasy draft, and as soon as I was done drafting (i had a great team) I click forward and it crashes.

I'm having the same probs. My game also crashes every single time i click "exit game" when i've just finished playing one. And it doesn't crash to the desktop either, it resets my entire pc. The only way i can exit the game without it crashing is by going to end task

I am not sure. It likely is. My computer is relatively new.

What I don't get is when I first bought the game it never did this, then I had to do a reformatting of the drive , I reinstalled the game, and this crap started.

use qweet's customart on/off switcher program. you can find it in the NLSC Live 2004 download section.

man i am soooo glad to find somebody who's having the same problem as i am...my live also crashes when i press exit game at the end...this was more frequent when my graphic options were all max...when i lowered some, it happened less frequently but still happens.... my graphic card is ATI Radeon 7500 which should be supported for 2004...do you know any solutions??

When you reformatted your hard drive, did you reinstall correct/updated drivers for your video card?

I downloaded that Qweet thing and the game is fine now.

And yes i did reinstall the updated.

I've been messing around with the ATI display options and nothing seems to help. When i put on ver. 3.10 it seemed to get even worse . Lowering the graphics seems to work better but it looks too damn ugly lol.

multi-player always seems to be fine

Do you have problems with other EA games? eg. medal of honor and battlefield 1942 in multi-player, need for speed: underground, fifa 2004, madden 2004?

I'm gonna get my RAM tested today, some1 on computing.net said one of the sticks was bad and thats what was causing the crashes.

Well my ram's fine, my 2nd ram slot is stuffed i think. I have two sticks of 512, i stuck the second one in the 3rd slot and it seems to be fine now.

I'll post again if it crashes...

other ea sports games seem to work fine i have moh allied assault and breakthrough and they are fine. even nba live 2003 ran perfect...i wonder what that qweet thing is... can anybody tell me?

I have this same problem and happen for me when going to select jersey in every game mode..its very strange. I have customart off, anti-virus off and have the lastest drivers for my ATI graphic card. I also have MVP 2003 baseball and dont have any problems at all. Some help would be great.
is it fixeable btw? I need to know between today and tomorrow if not i guess i have to return it, wich isnt what i really want.
