which files contain the draftpick info?

I'm trying to find which files contain the draftpicks info in dynasty mode(specifically who holds the draftpicks).

does anyone know which files contain this info?

i believe they are just generated from the "names.dbf"

i had a look at the names.dbf but thats just the info for generating rookies.
what i'm looking for is something where the you can manually change who has what pick i.e like giving the magic the suns 2nd rnd pick or something along those lines.

the only reason I'm looking for them is cos EA's trading system is so lame that no one actually trades draftpicks (cpu to cpu). I wish that sometime in the next few years or so they'll figure out how to make a dynasty mode that actually reflects the nba.

I agree that CPU teams don't make too many trades.
In fact, I haven't seen them making 1 trade involving the picks.

They made trading much harder in 2004 and it's good because it's hard to make rediculous steals. Maybe that's why CPU teams can't really make any trades b/c neither teams would trade unless they are gaining some significant advantage

any luck finding it......i too search in vain to which dbf file contains that info.....i hope someone would be able too

I think it's in franchise.dat

Someone could probably hex edit the file, to make the changes.
