vinceair, the hell are you talking about?
what are the big glitches in 2k9? And what part of D-League integration make it half assed? It is going to be available in both association mode and My Player mode.
The blurry graphics? what are you on man? The resolution of the textures in 2k9 equals or trumps anything the next gen versions of Live have done.
Right now, I am planning on buying 2k10 on PC and Live 10 on 360. If anything I am looking at 2k10 to deliver the better experience, again, this year because of the funner, better looking, gameplay and the fact that we can do stuff to it on the PC.
The Live team, while I do think are doing a hell of a job with the game, has me really worried about Live 10. Yay 500 shoes, throwbacks, normal mapping sweat, real tattoos and better faces. Sounds so familiar to me since I've been playing the PC version of Live so these are nothing new or brag worthy for the game for me. Instead we now have 1 button to shoot with, a "size up" button that lets you do dribble moves without touching the right stick, and diving...again. The tip to self rebounds are still 1 canned animation and same with the multiple player involved dives. It's taking control away from the user which is something I think Live always did better than 2k (well, aside from rebounding and blocking)
The game still moves like 09 too. Which isn't the worst thing in the world, but goto easportsworld.com and look at the user uploaded videos for Live 09, and then goto community.2ksports.com and look at the uploaded 2k9 videos. The player movements and atmosphere is just horrible in 09 and while they were improved this year, they arent up to 2k9 yet, at least not what I've seen.
I do think Live 10 will be a lot better than 09, and I do think that "NBA Live is back". But it's not the same NBA Live we remember from the PC era nor the same ones I suffered with on the 360, if that makes any sense. They changed it all up again, seemingly abandoning the existing Live players to cater to the ex-2kers.
I dunno, I got shit to do, pick that apart and I'll get back to you when I have more time.
