It looks as though i will be working at a place where internet is highly discouraged within the next month or 2. so it will be highly unlikely that i would come on here for a 2 year period. however i may pop in to see what yal are up to every once in a while...

I don't think you have to worry, it can't be Australia as the Internet isn't highly discouraged here. Though the speed, availability and value for money is highly discouraging.
