3 down, one to go.

Tue Jul 28, 2009 2:54 pm

well my grandfather died from a heart attack in the last 24 hours. we kind of knew it was coming but it was still a shock of sorts.
the lineup is like this.
paternal grandpa, died 7/26-7/09 heart attack. my dad is the youngest of 9 children.
maternal grandpa, died 1966/7 auto accident/ burned alive, no "jaws of life" in those days
maternal step grandpa died 2006. old age. 97 years old.
paternal step grandpa... most of the family wishes he would not have been born as he is a convicted felon, with a rather bad rap sheet.... most of those with his type of rap sheet dont last long in prison, if you know what i mean.

btw both grandmas are still living.

My deepest condolences, puttincomputers.

It's kind of weird for you to tell us about your family's death history though.

So sorry to hear that. He's at peace now though. I too have lost someone really close to me recently, well actually 8 years ago, but still feels like recent.

I never knew my grand dads. One of them died before I was made and the other one never talked to me. Still, sucks to lose people.

Sorry for your losses. I lost one of my granddads when I was like 2.

Although the title is kind of weird. It's something like from a serial-killers diary..

You know something's up when vinceair thinks you have issues, and he's a Bible follower like you...

thanks!
btw as He was lowered into the grave we were all able to get a whiff of him! they were not able to embalm him as he was found 2 or 3 days after he died.
then to top that the grave was too short and the coffin and vault were too short so the guys had to pull him out and 2 of my cousins went and dug out the ends a few inches.....

What's morbid about it? He glad's that the recently deceased just became a christian just before kicking the bucket. We should all celebrate!
