ok, the thing that pisses me off about this is unless i set my training to 100% in one area, theere is no chance except for my players ratings dropping in some areas. is tehre a way to have an actual POSITIVE training session? i am like afraid to do this, because it kills my player. he may go up by 1 point in one area but down in like 6 others.
whats the deal?

Training Sessions don't seem to work as well as we all hoped. I've found you can sometimes avoid negative results by assigning at least 15% to each area of training. However, I don't really trust the training sessions, or training camp.
There must be values you can use to reduce the chances of getting negative results. 15 is usually pretty good, but I've still seen players decline as a result.

i will give that a try, the only way i can possibly see doing the good increase on a player is increasing his defensive training and junk then hiring permanent coaches to adjust the things that go down. what a pain. is there some secrets int he game that helps me get extra points? when i sim a game agains a crap team i get like 40 dynasty points, but when i play a game i can only get like 700-800 points.

You always get more Dynasty points if you play the games rather than simulating them.
If you have a large lead, I suggest taking a look at the Task List to see which tasks you have not completed, then go for those marks. If you're leading by 30 points by the start of the fourth, it might be time to give your starters a rest and let every player on your team score, so you can pick up 250 Dynasty/NBA Store points.

you can make some "editing" on the point system. you may have 9000 points instead of 5, if you let a player score 12 in a quarter. hehehe... kinda cheating isnt it... but its cool. i just use them for training specific players... a game can give u as much as 200000 points.

Easy, just go to the save file then look for the file you are currently using, then look for task list file. Then you can edit there and there. Be sure to use the default font. My notepad( window xp style) messed up because whatever font i pick, it automatically change next time i use it, then it create stupid parameter errors in my codebase data and and shut off the application. Luckily i replaced and restored the original file form mpdata.
