I like your old stuff better than your new stuff...

My old thread is full of old shit, so I'll put newer shit in here. Since Null asked, I couldn't find any recent drawings I'd done (I usually throw them out or leave them lying around half finished) so I did this in the 20 mins or so the forum was down

They look great, and chickens are in today. My younger brother does art regarding chickens in his portfolio.

I like the "Rodgers" one. It's clean.

They look really good Jae. I like the arrows behind the word "select your iPhone" and the Rodgers one. I also like the iPhone you made but I prefer Blackberry or HTC to be there instead. JK

People have to want to buy it first, you can value it whatever you want lol but if no one has a use for it they won't buy it.

Jae, i really liked the rodgers too. very neat.
Lean, you can really earn from your works here in the country, my cousin is a fine arts graduate and he had a project where in he will create a logo for a firm/company, and i think he got 15000-25000 pesos for it. with your talent i think you can get that too.

woah. a new CPU? oh well, i've done many logos and vector graphics for most people i know and never got a penny. i think it's time to sell my works.

Have a look at 99designs.com... thousands of dollars to be made there. The only negative is that a) about 50 billion people enter every contest, ranging from people with no fingers using MS Paint to employed graphic artists who destroy everybody, and b) alot of people who are requesting these things don't really understand what makes something a good graphic, so the selections can be quite random.

oh, i don't plan on joining any contest, but still, thanks for the site. it's a great resource for future graphic creations. and yes, i plan to steal ideas.

I'm really fond of that chicken logo.. I'm curious, what is it for? And of course the crest is really cool too, although the wings could use some texturing, and the top and bottom scrolls' textures seem lower quality than that of the shield.

Also, big thanks for the site, I already entered two contests. I'm not planning on winning or anything, but it's good practice and I've already received some constructive feedback.

The chicken logo was for a website. The guy picked me as the winner then proceeded to tell me he wanted virtually everything about the logo changed lol so I gave it a miss.

Looks great, agreed on the text part too. Plus I guess that Blink 182 seems out of place in that list of bands.

I had the same problem, I don't like doing Web 2.0 shit and I think a lot of the designs they ask for are pretty uncreative. That's why I just hang around these places and wait for comps like that one and the coat of arms so I can do the sort of thing I want.

Agreed. Some are just plain random, though: I'm working on a logo for a dude who requested to "seamlessly incorporate pistachio and the 2010 FIFA World Cup"

Because I suck. There are lots of talented people over there.

I tried finding a way to put it into the map of Australia but it doesn't look great. Any ideas?

For the record I hate ICP and everything they stand for.

I think the first logo fits the spot where the Australian map is on the second logo so long as it is not in 3D perspective view yet. Maybe you can remake the script logo in 2D before you map it in 3D.
