I wonder if this is going to be Richardson's last destination before he becomes a free agent.

I really like Los Angeles frontcourt with Griffin, Camby, Smith and Kaman. Maybe they will make it. Maybe they will qualify for the playoffs. If they stay healthy, they're not such a bad team after all.

Well Thornton is pretty much a chucker while Baron tends not to exert much effort at all when he doesn't have his way.

Kind of a lateral move for both teams, nothing special about it. Arguably slightly better for the Timberwolves because Richardson's $9 million will be off the books at the end of the year, either trimming their payroll further or perhaps giving them a useful trade asset. If they do him, adding another swingman wouldn't go astray. Madsen and Smith are also free agents at the end of the year so it's not too bad for the Clippers, if Telfair opts out he's off the payroll too.

He didn't. It was a rumour. It said "Von Wafer to sign with the Suns", not "Von wafer signed with the Suns". There's a difference.

There's a high chance that he will really sign with the Suns, but until that is official, he's still a free agent that is still available.

I thought he would have been nice on the Clippers for a perimeter shooter that they can kick the ball out to. I am guessing with Sebastian Telfair going to the Clippers that those Allen Iverson talks are dead.

Quentin Richardson has been traded for the fourth time this summer.

The Timberwolves have dealt Richardson to the Heat in exchange for forward Mark Blount, two sources told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday night.

Miami is expected to play Richardson a considerable amount, while enjoying the relief of his expiring $9.35 million contract.

After playing last season in New York, Richardson has moved to Memphis, the L.A. Clippers, Minnesota and now Miami.
