Tell me about it, 2009 has been a devastating year for me so far on the whole. It's been six months already since my mother passed away, and I still remember it like yesterday. And the new year party we had too, all of it just past by so fast.

Damn Sorry to hear that. I am sure she's in a better place resting now though.

Anyways, I didn't even realize I reached over 1000 posts. Feels like quite an achievement to me...

Oh, sorry to hear that. It's easy to say that death is a natural part of life but the hardest thing to do is to accept that a loved one is no longer with you. All will be fine, man.

Thanks guys, actually I've already mentioned my mother's death once in my "My first anniversary here at NLSC" thread.

It really is hard to accept that our loved one is no longer around, but at least we can be assured of the fact that they'll always be in our heart. We just have to keep moving on and make the most out of our short life.
