From a farther view that vector of yours looks great Jom. Only thing that I noticed is that there's no blending--yet. Put your base layer and trace the entire headshape of yours and place the shades above it, and set the shades to 30% opacity so that it would blend the colors. And you need to give your vector shapes some curves for a better result.

Ahh, I see Kris like to do some

. Thing is, if you like me to vector that shot I'd need a
bigger picture of it, and lots of time too.

Seen the pic you posted. Are you just starting with your Photoshop course? If yes, that pic is a good sign of things to come. That work of yours show that you're a quick learner.

But I can't promise an in-depth tutorial like that of the vector tutorial I made a few weeks back. Looking at it now, I believe I need to make adjustments on that kind of art in Photoshop.

Looking at some areas in this pic, you can see that there are still spots that look flat and needs to be added more shades for it to look solid. To be honest, I used a reference pic of myself holding an umbrella (see Page 2 or 3) and just traced around the parts using the Pen Tool. The shading is made using the Dodge and Burn Tool. Not exactly the tools you want to use because the exposure rating screws the shit out of the work.
And I didn't make the Jedi tunic "from scratch," I mean, it's not really "made out of my mind" as if I'm really drawing it. I still have a reference pic of it:

Look at Obi-Wan. You can see there that I based my tunic on his.
When you do things at Photoshop, what you need is an imaginative mind and a creative spirit. Plus some logic on how to do a certain project. If you need help on your course or in Photoshop in general, feel free to ask.
