Training your players or buying Dynasty extras?

I just want to say that since i started playing nba live 2004, i haven't wont the player of the month award or the rookie of the month award. I've played 180 games for my 3 dynasty teams and i have earned MVPs and all-nba selection but no player of the month award!!!

Now, what do u think is best? Training the player for the whole year or just simply buy the dynasty extras???

I know a lot of you uses the patch that changes the configuration of the points gained when a player is trained, but let us consider the default points gained.

Train them because it is permanent. I had about 25000 points built up and made Darko into a defensive powerhouse but his offence took a hit.

I'm playing on PS2 and i use the 55-15-15-15 trick and i don't get any deductions for the other factors of my player. I guess it's not the same for the PC game.

Extras dynasty because i'm too strong with the kings (52-4) on superstar

I just realized that even if you train your player the whole year, there is a chance that he could lose some or most of those trianing points, in this case maybe buying the dynasty extras is better.
