I got it used w/ discount today, so 30 bucks

so far I am loving it, actually had a few "epic" matches where the momentum went back and forth. but I also had a few that barely lasted a full minute it seemed.

CAW was very pleasing to me, although the finishers for CAWs are just, meh, really....

ladder matches also piss me off....so does button mashing

other than that, I am really pleased with it, I am def going to have a lot of fun with this one for a while.

Ladder Matches definitely take more effort, you've really got to make sure you beat up your opponent before you attempt to climb the ladder. Certainly not my mode of choice, now that I've cleared it in R/R/R the only time I'll probably play one again is to get the gold medal in that match.

I hope they put Steamboat as DLC, that is, if the game has a DLC.

That would definitely be a popular move given his "comeback" matches this year.

Well still no DLC and this game kinda dwindled on my interest list

but today, finally, I picked up SvR 2009 and imported those shmucks in and just had a great time with the game. Old vs New, New vs New, changing belts around, great fun. Did Stone Cold vs McMahon in a cage, Kane vs Undertaker (SvR) in a HITC, Tazz, Dreamer, Holly in a hardcore match, and then a Cena, Batista vs Orton, Big Show. Then did a quick Big Show vs Andre simulation.

Tried playing some SvR 2009, and yea, just no. Didn't like anything to do with that right analog crap and sending dreamer through that table with Holly on it just wasn't satisfying enough. So that will most likely be traded in for Fight Night.

I forget what I did with the sliders last time I played, but I did something that extended the match and it is making the matches a lot more satisfying.

I must admit I haven't touched this in a while, mainly because I've been playing Fallout 3 so much but the replay value is limited because one you get the knack of some of the gimmick matches, you breeze through the limited Relive/Rewrite/Redefine mode. I've got a lot of things to unlock because I didn't earn the medals in all the R/R/R matches I played but frankly I'm tempted just to use the codes to try them out, having already played through the main game mode.

the game needs a much deeper stat engine, seriously i want stats for everything. games have come way to far for people to have to write down anything on paper

After my previous post, I ended up unlocking everything I could with codes just to check it out. I still think the game's worth the nostalgia, but it needed more depth.

it needs alot more depth and like i said more stat tracking helps alot. also it needs more wrestlers, i wont give up on macho its just not the game it should be with out him. on top of that i want the ability to set up pay per view events and have a 4 on 4 survivor series set up. infact in my dream world you could do 5 survival matches and have the winners advance to a grand finale like they did that one? time.

If nothing else, R/R/R should have been deeper with every possible match in each of the Rs. Assuming you master the controls quickly enough, it can be completed in a day and that's too soon for the game's main mode.
