Discussion about NBA Live 2004.

Everytime you edit your player or trade players the game reorders the rosters according to the ratings which is annoying because you have to go back and resetting the rosters.
The screen for reordering rosters isn't big enough so if you want to put someone from the DL into the starting line up you have to drag him first to active roster then scroll up and then drag him again to the starting lineup.
That's pretty annoying.

only takes me 5 secs to reorder the roster, I don't really find it a problem.

That's good water. Is it available in the US?
I've noticed the same problem forever too. I don't get why these little bugs persist from version to version.

One previous version of Live allowed you to check or uncheck the option of having the rosters reorder automatically.

EA is just messed up, they should make Live 2005 base by what the fans want, not what they want.

Just to defend EA coz I think Live 2004 is the best pro basketball game I have ever seen.. EA did this so that the rosters were always reordered to respect the ratings of the players.. If you dopn't want your best players in the starting lineup it should be up to you to fix it each time you do a rosters transaction and not EA.

Also without this, the cpu rosters that you traded to (at least outside of dynasty) would not be re-ordered and you could have something like Kevin Garnett starting and Rasheed Wallace coming of the bench. That's just an example of course.

They could have it so it doesn't re-order your rosters, just the cpu rosters...
