Things I want to see in the new NBA Live 2010.
1. Make the game more realistic. In previous NBA Live, we have post players such as Johan Petro making a fadeway jumper from 18 feet and connecting hahaha. So he's like Kobe now. They need to add some realistic moves such as the up and under move, behind the back passes, baseball pass, bounce pass, players should be able to hit a bank shot ala Tim Duncan. It would be great if they could add fancy passes such as a blind pass.
2. EA should allow the users to have an independent Season mode where you can edit the all team rosters in a season. This should give the game some realism because you are able to make corrections on the trades and current starting lineups of each teams. EA was able to implement this in previous NBA Lives. The way I see it they want to make this game like a Fantasy basketball game where the CPU makes the trade on other teams. This makes the game less realistic.
3. Every year when I buy NBA Live the first thing that I fix is the team roster. I make sure that everyone has the right positions. I hope that this time around you can edit not only the player's numbers but also the height of the player. I wish EA would go to NBA.com's web site as their reference for creating the team roster. Another issue here are the shoes of the player. An example would be the Lakers. We all know that during road games the Lakers wear black shoes. I noticed when you edit the Laker players some of them are wearing white shoes during road games. This has not been fixed by EA. NBA 2k9 does a great job on this one. If a team wears black shoes during road games then all of the players from that team are wearing black shoes as well. I hope they fix this in NBA Live 2010. Please remove some of the shoes in your database. Another thing last year when I was editing the rosters, all of a sudden I noticed that the game would hang. Please fix this problem.
I hope that helps.
