Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I reckon the wheel is in top 5.
But...I hate 2 put a straight face on all ur ideas, the greatest invention is Soap. Soap is what is used to make atiseptic which kills bacteria and sterilises our hospitals. Without soap we would all be dead. In 13th century they didnt have soap. They had The Black Death which killed 75,000,000 people in 5 yrs.

What came first, toilet paper, or the toilet that flushes? I always wanted to know that. Was the toilet that flushes made to give a homage for the toilet paper to go to?

Yeah absolutly. Soap, penicillin and aneasthesia. I have changed my mind now, the greatest invention has got to be Money. It makes the world go round, everybody needs it, wants it and has it(some more than others, yes, im talking to u Mr Bill Gates, stop being greedy and share).

Some 1 mentioned Radio/TV. Radio is also responsible for InfaRed, metal detectors and radar. Bell did not invent the TV, he was 2nd, it was an English bloke who 1st transmitted pics. Nobody believed what he was doing was real, ppl thought he was a fraud, so nobody would fund his lab and he fell behind on his development.

The worst invention of all time H-bomb and all guns and pop idol!!!

Thats true but if we didnt have money people could be in an even bigger hole. Unless we traded food or possessions or something. We wouldnt have any way of getting the things we need. There wouldnt be anystores or anything.

It would go all the way back to the old days where the big countries would take from the little countries making them poorl Then the big countries would be dominant and everyone in the little countries would have to declare war or die.

And us as individuals may not be able ato get our hands on the types of technology now. There would be no way to get it. Unless you(Andreas Dahl) said that any form of currency has gotta be the worst invention of all time. Because back then we used gold, seashells, jewels, and all kinds of things to get what we wanted.

People wouldn't work. They work because they need money, they wouldn't just work and get money.

no... we can always get what we truly need. we don't need computers and tv's such...
could you name one thing that you need money to get, in order to survive?
that's one of the things that seperates us from the animals (the other thing is methodically killing eachother), the thirst for more and more useless stuff that we do not need. we exploit the land like we own it (while nobody realy owns it, it's like saying that someone owns the air, or the space...).

It would go all the way back to the old days where the big countries would take from the little countries making them poorl Then the big countries would be dominant and everyone in the little countries would have to declare war or die.
that's ampother thing i don't like, countries.
we don't realy need them at all. woudn't the world be a better place, where nobody was in charge of the area you lived it, so you don't have to pay him anything at all. if everyone just existed, and took from the land what they truly needen, and didn't take from the nature 500x as much stuff as they need.

if i could change the world to anything i wan't, i would change it back to when man has lived for a fewhundered years as homus errectus... think about it, there would be no real hatered, no enemys, just one big brotherhood

(sorry if i sound like an preacher from a cult )

Heat. Like a heater or something. Well, I guess if you were smart enough you could build one(very hard though). Or you could steal one.
