I'm 3-3 in my association now. I traded Jerome James for O. Hunter. Some players are still struggeling: Nate Robinson (35% FG, 20% from downtown), Duhon (36% FG) and especially David Lee (35% FG, only 6 PPG).

David Lee has been cold as ice so far. The starting lineup of the first few games was:

Lee
Harrington
Chandler
Crawford
Duhon

Lee struggled, Chandler could not make a shot. Lee just lacks size to play against Al Jefferson, Yao Ming or Dwight Howard. After the first four games I changed my starting lineup to:

Curry
Lee
Harrington
Crawford
Duhon

Chandler has to come off the bench because his FG% was low anyway and he is getting better.
Curry might be out of shape in reality but I need him in my association. He can compete with centers and gets double-teamed often which creates open shots for my guards.

Jeffries had some good games as well on the C and PF position. He has been averaging 3 SPG over the last three games.

David Lee plays better now on the PF position.

thinkin of trade for another explosive scorer, cuz every time i need a basket i notice the ball is in the hands of D.Wade, he's averaging high 40's over the last five games, maybe A.I., but that wont work, why the heck pistons need J.oneal, if the marbury was stil on the Knicks   played a game against portland, Roy is a real bad PG had 7 T.O. with D.Wade on him :D wade has 6  lets se what i can do with the scoring issue.

EDIT: after more two games i realized that i dont need another scorer, because beasley is really good at that, i have so many ways to score, if i go to the 3pt line and my defender (usually a PF) didn't gets up i just drain the open three, if my defender gets up, i can take him off the dribble (depends on who's the guy guarding me) or drive past him (if its a slow PF) if i get the SF on me i just look for the guy that got the PF on him(usually that my SF who is Josh Smith) i pass the ball to him and j.smith goes for the dunk
sorry for my english

First four games, Lee starting at C: 35% FG, 6 PPG
Last four games, Lee starting at PF: 50% FG, 17 PPG

New lineup:

Curry (sometimes Jeffries)
Lee
Harrington
Crawford
Duhon

Interesting injury, simmed the first day, cause the Heat play the second day of the NBA season. Got a message. It was one of the injury messages that you get. It read,
"Carmelo Anthony has suffered a broken "forgot what it was" and will be out for 299 days". Checked the Injury Report, said he'd be out for the whole season! After my Knicks game it came up on the headlines,
"Injury sidelines Anthony for rest of season". Well, there goes the Nuggets year down the drain, and I thought they would be a challenge with Billups. Crazy :!:

Anyone else get major injuries in their association?

oh yes! all the time!!! though i do cheat with that. the league seems to suffer about 3 or 4 major injuries a year

Alright, Beasley sucks in my association, cause he is so inconsistent and doesn't get enough rebounds. My starting line-up was:

Chalmers
Wade
Beasley
Haslem
O'Neal

With Haslem going to the bench after like 4 mins, moving Beasley up to PF and James Jones to SF. But he plays like crap and his jumpshot I can never get right, so:

Heat get:
R. Gay

Grizzlies get:
M. Beasley

I put him on the trading block and the Grizzlies offered it so, I accepted. I reckon it is a decent trade, Grizzles get someone young and I also get someone quite young.

Now I'm at my 4th season with Sacramento Kings
My Line-up:
PG Ellis
SG Patterson (2nd year player ~85 overall. Compered to Kobe. Picked 3rd by Minessota)
SF LeBron James
PF Westbrook (2nd year player ~86 overall. Picked 5th by Sacramento. Won the ROY award)
C Vareajo

6th man - G Fox (2nd year player ~83 overall. Picked 10th by Sacramento)
G Anthony Morrow
F Collier (3rd year player ~76 overall. Drafted by Sacramento (nr. 19th))
C Tarlac (Rookie ~75 overall. Drafted 1st by Clippers)
F/C Couto (2nd year player. Drafted 13th by Houston. 73 overall)
F Craig Smith
C Kelley (Rookie 67 overall. Drafted 30th by Sacramento)

Story
After my second season (when in my team still was Brendon Roy, LeMarcus Aldrige) I didn't get to the playoffs. So I decided to trade them all away (most of my Starters) for LeBron. I got kind-a-lucky when in offseason I got a trade proposal giving me Steve Nash for Barbosa. So I took it and imediatley traded him, Roy, Aldrige to Cavs for Lebron. I tried to play LeBron as SG but it didn't work out quite well. So I traded Gallinari for Patterson and Morrison for Morrow. Rookie Westbrook showed a nice game. LeBron was on fire. This was really my year. However.. Ellis got injury. I needed some experience in the point. So I got Brent Barry. He was terrific in his 1st game - scoring 21 pts (7/12 from 3pt). Rookie Patterson had begun to play pretty well, scoring 20+ points a game. And while Westbrook was out with an injury he played a really good. So it was my 27th game in the season (I play 29 games). I already had the best record in the season, so I was nr. 1 in the playoffs. But there always something must go wrong. LeBron broke his ankle and the season for him was over. Still 25-4 in the season.
First playoff game (I play 1-1-1-1 games in playoffs) was against NO Hornets. They were awful! :D +35 with no LeBron. I thought maybe I can get to the final! NOT! Next round against Lakers. Kobe humiliated my team. I was out-rebounded. With Gasol and Bynum under the rim I could do nothing. And without Lebron in offense. So I lost but not by much. Less then 10 points separated our teams. Memphis won the title. ( I don't know how it is possible!)
Lebron got his MVP of the season. Westbrook got his ROY.
Time for offseason. LeBron went to be a FA. I got him back.
I tried to get Hortford but the price was a bit too high.
So I got Collier (also player from my team who wanted to FA Market), Craig Smith and Andresen. I traded Andresen and a 1st round pick for Tarlac because I need a good center (hope he will develope to be a great one.)
I just played 2 friendlies. First against Memphis who lost Rudy Gay but gained Tayshaun Prince (all in the FA period). I was about 19 points down after the 3rd. Lebron exploded. So at the buzzer I was up by 2. Maybe that's the reason they got the title.
Second game against Milwaukee. A great game for all my team. Westbrook scoring 19 + 9 rebs. 26 pts for Patterson... and 54 for LeBron :D
The Next game is against Philly.

Current record: 7-5.
After a bad start Jamal Crawford had some great games...36 points in my second-to-last game and 40 in my last. 11/18 from downtown...

I had a fantastic move by Lee also. Unfortunately, the basket did not count. Robinson pulled up a three with one second to go, time expired...the ball did not go in but Lee flew to the basket for a thunderous rebound dunk.

All my saves crashed so I had to put up a new Association. I decided to get along with Portland Trail Blazers. So... I'm currently 5-3 and this is my rotation:
PG: J. Bayless / S. Rodriguez
SG: B. Roy / R. Fernandez
SF: J. Smith / N. Batum
PF: A. Stoudemire / M. Ruffin
C: G. Oden / J. Przybila.

I have 24mln cap space on new season and I'm looking for some all-star free agent. I will have around 25mln in 2010/11 but I will have to resign Greg and Brandon.

So, what do you think about that?

I started a new association with Dallas Mavericks
I'm playing 10 minutes
Sim 12 minutes
Pro level

First game I had I lost to Houston Rockets 75-88
All my players, except Nowitzky, Stackhause and G.Green were absolutly shit:P
Rockets controlled the paint and Yao dominated the game as he had 22 points, 14 boards and 4 blocks, Scola had 15/6 and landry 14/7
My bes was Nowitzky, who had 28 points+ 7 boards and Stackhouse had decent game with 11 points
Dampier had just 2 points and Terry 0

Before the second game´, I decided to trade Terry and Singleton to G.Wallace.

My Knicks are at 54-11. Second best team are the Lakers (Bryant, Amar'e, Bynum) with 53-12. Weird thing happened. I simmed until the offseason for fun (My 3rd year Player won MVP), and I decided to simulate one year, I won 72-10 lols. In the offseason, my top 2 players bolted for other teams ( ) including my MVP, at this point a 2 time MVP. Then I figured, what happens if I simulate another season? So I did and my 3rd best player, who averaged like 10 and 7 last season went for a whopping 30.2ppg, 11.7rpg, 1,1,1. But I won like 20 something games but of course, since the award system for 2k9 is F*d up, he was awarded a spot on the All-NBA first team.

I just finished my first season with the Cavs.

(Two days left before the trade deadline, I was surprised when the 76ers offered Iggy and their 2009 2nd draft pick for Wally Sczerbiak.)

Team accomplishments:

Won 2nd best record in the regular season (57-25)

Lebron James won the MVP award

Won the first round against Indiana (4-0)

Won the second round against Chicago (4-3)

Won the Conference Finals against Miami (4-3)

Won the NBA Finals against Houston (4-2)

Lebron James won the Finals MVP Award

Currently working on the offseason.

i restart my association and get the roster of juza.. and now using grizzlies it is very hard... i will try to get aldridge and randy foye.

any suggestion will really appreciated.. right now im playing fastbreak and when i get some defensive players ill try to play slow.

I also tweak a little(plus 3) to the dunk of Gay because i cannot agree with what juza put there (just my 2 cents LOL).

Bayless in extremely talented, he's a great scorer and pretty good defender. On the other hand Rondo is great at point guard, one of my favourites NBA players in general. I have Roy, Josh Smith, Howard and Oden in my starting line-up so he could be a nice add.
I can't make my mind, to be honest.

My association is off to a terrible start. I'm using Detroit, and made quite a few trades. Traded Tayshaun Prince to Charlotte for Lamar Odum and a 1st round pick in 2010. At the end of last season, I traded Iverson and Rasheed Wallace to Cleveland for Ben Wallace, Delonte West, Z Illgauskas and Joe Smith. I've since traded Delon
te West to SA for Roger Mason. (West and Wallace weren't happy) Ryan Gomes was on the team last season, he wasn't happy so I traded him to NY for Danilo Gallinari. I then traded B Wallace and D Gallinari to Orlando for T Battie, Hedo Turkoglu and Rafer Alston. My last deal was Kwame Brown to Phx for S Swift and a 2010 2nd round pick. My record is 6-15 and on a 5 game losing streak. My team chemistry is 3%, although it has risen from 0% , maybe thats good news. My question is how do you raise the players ratings and chemistry? After the trades, most players ratings dropped at least 10 pts, with a red arrow pointing down on all of them. Even Rip and Stuckey's ratings have dropped and are red. Please explain to me what this means and how to fix it. Thx.

Turn off team chemistry. You can't just put a bunch of random players on a team and expect them to click they have been playing for years.

Besides, thee effect team chemistry has is too extreme. If it is at 100%, it gives too much of a boost, if it is at 0%, it punishes your team too much.

^^ Thx P-Dub for the tip. I didn't know it affected the team that much. What about the player ratings being so low? Will they increase and turn green instead of the present red? Thx again.
