This should be interesting.

benji's roster pwns

Ditto, Mitch.
Andrew's roster's great too, but Ben has classic teams.

so hard to decide...i 'm not gonna vote..

I don't mean this as any diss to other patchmakers, everybody has their thing, but I prefer Ben's rosters. For me anyway it's a no brainer, I know Ben knows his NBA shit, since I talk to him daily online, and I know he puts that knowledge into his roster, therefore also trust him that everything, from his lineups, salaries, playsets and whatnot are 100% accurate... Plus, gotta love the classic teams.

That's a hard one. I also voted for Ben's, but mostly because of the classic teams and players. It's hard to find big differencies between Ben's and Andrew's. Both are top notch! And Lotto's is soo good too, but it varies a bit from the 2 others, on the line-ups and so on.
PS: If this thread wasn't gonna come, i would have made it myself... But, this is the wrong section to post such questions. I would've put it in the "Live 2004 General" section instead.

i prefer benjis, though the others are also good

I dont like this topic and i dont see it's point. You like either roster...download it..and dont download the other...simple as that. You can say once in a while about which roster you like...but making an entire topic about it...in the wrong section no less, isn't good. You compare people's work in the open like that and you're liable to cause bad feelings amoung them. Would you like your work to be put down and for people to say they dont like your work in a vote like this? Some of you might not care either way....but some people would. This isn't nice and it's against common courtesy imo.
P.S ...just saying what i think..not moderating.

If Lotto didn't like his work being "put down" (though no one has done anything but make compliments in the thread) he (or someone who uses the same ISP) wouldn't have made the thread would he.
Also the thread can act as a service to those on the fence, getting a feel for what others think is the best roster.
Though, it being in the wrong section is still a problem...

Ben, what are you talking about? Anyways, I prefer Lotto's and NLSC rosters over Benji's and here is the reason why:
1. Accuracy. Lotto's and NLSC's rosters are accurate to the T. Benji's rosters still have players with the wrong jersey numbers as well players with the wrong handeness.
2. Bug free. Ben rushes out his patches that only introduce more problems. If you try to do fantasy draft now with his rosters, you end up getting old legends and duplicate players popping up.
3. Installation. If you install Ben's rosters, you end up with a copy of his rosters on the root of your c: drive. Not a big deal, but I don't like having files installed in locations I don't need them. Thanks!

off you go, and conclude my suspicion that Beta Fish is Lotto. strange person you are mate, rambling about same crap over and over (under this, and your other username) and obsessing about a little thing like a game roster. get a grip.

Darn, spoke too soon about no one posting anything but compliments.
Lotto,
1. I already asked a few people for a list of the lefties I missed but I have no reply as of yet. If you care to list them I will happy to fix them for you. Since I am staying positive I will not comment on the accuracy of the other rosters.
2. I don't rush out my patches, I delayed the last version a week as I squashed bugs. That's the problem when you make advances no one else has, you learn as you go. I try and fix bugs as soon as they pop-up. I fixed the Rockets error within 18 hours. The fantasy draft error was an oversight because I didn't do a fantasy draft. The error is easily fixed and I have helped everyone who has asked to correct the problem, since it was not a major error and because more and more releases serve to confuse users I did not feel it warranted a new release.
3. I continue to not find any files in the root on both 98SE and XP. No one else has reported the problem and I have checked with 2000 and XP users. So I must conclude the problem lies in your computer Lotto and not the installation program. You don't have the problem with Andrew's roster do you? The installation software is exactly the same.
Thanks. I will await the corrections of hands and numbers. But I suspect you will just again say "Why should I tell you? You'll just fix them."

Why do you continue to call me Lotto?

I worked with KDWilliams85 and we got things figured out and taken care of, no need to bring up old stuff. And if others have a problem with the install they can always get the .zip.
It must just be a massive coincidence that you and Lotto post from the same ips then.

Just like the fact that you and Lotto complain about the same exact trivial things in the same exact way.

Ok i reckon this thread has served and should now be retired
