Wow, that's awful. How can you compare a game like Madden, which I prefer ESPN over by the way, to Grand Theft Auto or Splinter Cell. Madden wasn't even that good in my opinion, while GTA and Splinter Cell are the two best games I've ever played.

It's sad how much they favor EA Sports over any other sports game companies. ESPN owns Live and the majority knows that. Live has a good commercial and cathcy phrases like "Freestyle". That's all.

Vice City was the game of the year and everyone knows it, HOW DID IT NOT WIN ONE AWARD?(Except for Ray Liotta's award for Best Performance by a Human)

This game overall sucked, Too Short, Too Easy, Too Buggy, and it just plain sucked, Lord Of The Rings All The Way!

DOAXVB did not deseve to win, it only won cuz it was a bunch of horny 20-30 year olds voting that just wanted to clips of scandally clad women in bathing suits, I Dunno who deserved it but not DOAXVB

i was also thinking the same thing.. its because madden was the only game nominated for 2 diff awards and they didnt want to give madden 2 awards so they gave madden game of the year and tony hawk underground witch is a pimp game in itself was deserving of sports game of the year plus it didnt hurt that they had a band playing music too cool tricks on those 3 ramps they had plus they didnt want bubba sparxx to perform twice he did open the show.

As much as I liked Halo for PC, it was definitely not the best PC game this year.

Yeah it was. Though it's still one of the best driving games out there, it's a Playstation Classic right now. That and GTA 3 are probably the two best games you can buy for $20.
